One of the most beloved DLC packs for Borderlands 2 was Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon's Keep, which took the looter shooter into the realm of fantasy and Dungeons and Dragons, known as Bunkers and Baddasses in this universe. The expansion had Tiny Tina act as Dungeon Master with the original Vault Heroes taking part, reimagining characters into fantasy roles. It added an interesting twist to the Borderlands formula, with the overarching story framed around Tiny Tina's struggle to accept the death of Roland.

Needless to say, Assault on Dragon Keep quickly went on to become the highest rated DLC pack of Borderlands 2 and ultimately served as the basis for Gearbox's next big game, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. While keeping the familiar looter shooter basis from the Borderlands games, Wonderlands adds in elements from fantasy RPGs such as players being able to create their own characters, the ability to mix and match skills, different magical spells can be used, and melee weapons are now completely viable.

As a Borderlands inspired game, loot is going to be a major factor in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. While the game isn't due for release until March 2022, 2K Games is giving fans a chance to score in-game gear early. For those who want to get a head start on their collection, players can score cosmetic rewards in the Town Crier Pack right now completely free. The pack includes the Wanderlust Armor Pattern, which can be applied to any armor set, as well as Thine Humble Devs Banner Icon.

To unlock the Town Crier Armor Pack for use inside Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, fans will need to only do a couple things. The first is to subscribe to receive newsletters and digital marketing from 2K and Gearbox using a verified 2K Account. In addition, players will want to have a verified SHiFT Account, with an email that matches the one used in the 2K Account. Once that is set, the last step is to log into SHiFT once Wonderlands launches, which will unlock the pack through the in-game mail service, similar to the system in Borderlands 3. All steps must be completed prior to January 1, 2022.

For those who want to get a jump start on their Borderlands-inspired fantasy adventures, Gearbox has brought back Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep and made it available as a standalone purchase on current and next-gen consoles, plus PC. However, for those using the Epic Games Store, Assault on Dragon Keep is a surprise free to download game until November 16.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands launches March 25, 2022 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
