With the release of Gearbox Software and 2K Games' Tiny Tina's Wonderlands fast approaching, fans of the Borderlands series and the previously released Dungeons & Dragons-themed DLC for Borderlands 2 have been eagerly anticipating news of the game. Serving as a follow-up to and expansion of Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands will combine classic elements of fantasy-themed tabletop games with aspects that have made the Borderlands series such a fan-favorite franchise. With the titular Tina once again in the role as the dungeon master, chaos will no doubt ensue as players navigate the world of Bunkers and Badasses.

The trailers for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands have shown off a colorful and delightfully shambolic world typical of a Borderlands game, with a variety of weird and wonderful enemies to blast and batter. Players can loot and shoot (or lute, as the case may be) their way through the environments in their ultimate quest to take down the Dragon Lord. Initially choosing one of six character classes, players will then be able to combine this with another class after leveling up and unlocking the multiclass system. However, before gamers can get their hands on Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, they may be wondering just what the six classes are all about.

Brr-Zerkers

Big, bad, and ready to cause carnage — the Brr-Zerker class is basically a frost-infused Berzerker. They're perfect for players that like to utilize close-range melee attacks that pack a punch and would be front and center when it comes to party-based combat. They're specialists of Melee and Frost damage, with abilities like becoming Enraged and infusing their weaponry with Frost so that they can "Freeze and shatter their enemies."

Brr-Zerkers originate from the frozen mountains and are as hardy and icy as their homelands. They can take a lot of damage and can use raw destructive force to take down any antagonists they encounter. That being said, their powers aren't just about brute force — they can also leech life from fallen foes with the help of occult magical powers.

Clawbringer

The Clawbringer is a fiery, hammer-wielding warrior who uses thunder and flames to take out anyone who opposes them. With the help of their fire-breathing Wyvern Companion, Clawbringers have a focus on elemental damage like Fire and Lightning. With moves like Dragon Aura, Clawbringers can empower their whole party with stat boosts like additional Fire damage, proving their usefulness to the wider team of players.

Like Borderlands' version of Thor, Clawbringers can choose to throw their spectral hammer at targets to cause Lightning damage or summon a massive fiery burst by slamming it into the ground. With the mix of ranged and close-up damage on offer, the Clawbringer is a versatile class.

Graveborn

Graveborns are another class with a useful companion, but in their case, they have a manic Demi-Lich that helps them in combat. When Graveborns cast a Spell, their companion will even cast a unique spell of their own, as well as causing Kill Skills to trigger and summon hellish minions to join the fight against foes. The Death-touched acolytes can deal massive damage, but a lot of their moves are at the cost of their own health, creating a deadly balancing act.

With their necromancer-like look and skillsets, Graveborns are Devotees of Death and users of Dark Magic. However, players will be able to customize their own characters in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, and the way their character looks won't have an impact on their abilities. So if they want a cute and cuddly dealer of death, then that is perfectly possible.

Spellshot

Spellshots may be more akin to traditional magical users of the fantasy genre, but they still blast their enemies to smithereens with guns as much as the other classes. With the combination of spells and bullets, Spellshots could have the best of both worlds when it comes to combat. However, they're not just any old gunslinger — Spellshots bring together arms and arcana so that their weapons become an extension of their own powers.

One of the aspects of Spellshot skills that will most likely become a player favorite right off the bat is their ability to turn enemies into fuzzy animals, therefore rendering them both instantly harmless and adorable. They're able to equip two Spells, and they also have a Spellweaving ability that helps to increase fire rate and damage.

Spore Warden

One of the last to be revealed, Spore Wardens have a litany of nature-based moves and a toxin-spewing Mushroom Companion to help them kill enemies and clear battlefields. With a focus on ranged attacks, Spore Wardens use a combination of firearms and a mystical summoned bow that fires arcane arrows.

Spore Wardens can summon tornados, lay down covering fire, and even boost the abilities of their companions as they work together to take down antagonists. They're fast, deadly, and infinitely helpful to their other party members.

Stabbomancers

Stabbomancers are the rogue class of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands and focus on stealth kills and Critical-hit-focused assassinations. They can summon whirring blades out of thin air to slice through enemies, and then they can retreat into the shadows to protect their fragile health bar. Described as a jack of all trades but master of none, Stabbomancers are experts at exploiting weaknesses and striking at the right moments.

Stabbomancers specialize in Critical Hits and Status Effects and can alternate between Guns, Melee Weapons, and Spells. Their ability to retreat and reappear at will should serve them well in avoiding tackling enemies head-on, and instead, rely on their arsenal of varied approaches when it comes to combat.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands releases on March 25, 2022, for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
