- Expertise: increases duration of debuffs inflicted on enemies, while decreasing their effects on the player
3 How To Increase Combat Stats
Combat Stats will affect how the player proceeds through the game, influencing their character's build. Different builds and Classes require the player to focus on different Combat Stats. The way to alter these stats is through equipping various accessories, such as rings, necklaces, and earrings. Each piece of jewelry offers a different Combat Stat affect.
The player will have to mix and match different pieces to come up with the combination that best suits their needs, as one piece of jewelry will not cover all the bases. Additionally, engravings can be added to the accessories to improve the status boost they provide. Status boosts can also come from drinking potions, and there are several that cause a permanent Combat Stat increase. Additionally, there are some books that can be obtained as the result of completing quests that indirectly boost one status or another when read. However, the most effective way to impact Combat Stats is to equip accessories.
2 Why Virtue Stats Are Important
Virtues are an essential part of the non-combat progression of Lost Ark. The player will need to develop these stats to increase their Rapport with specific NPCs and accomplish certain goals. They'll be more likely to receive more gold and receive other great rewards as their Rapport and Virtues increase.
If the player is setting out to find all the Mokoko Seeds, they won't make it far without upgrading their Virtues. As they find these seeds, they'll receive rewards like Stat Increase Potions and Masterpieces. This is just one example of why these stats are so important.
1 Methods To Increase Virtue Stats
Several methods exist to increase Virtue Stats. The best part is that nearly all of them are shared among the roster characters. The only one that isn't is the use of skins.
For the most efficient and effective increase to these stats, the player can use the following:
- Skins: These can be obtained through shops or login bonuses. Each one comes with unique Virtue boosts and should be considered carefully before purchase. The effects are immediate and only work on the character the skin is equipped on.
- Quests:There are many quests that increase Virtues as a reward. The player will need to travel throughout the map to find all of them, getting the best resulting combination.
- Adventure Tome: The player should place the focus on hidden stories and field bosses, as both of these result in a small Virtue increase upon completion.
- Rapport: Certain Rapport will increase Virtue.
- Potions: Some NPCs offer potions that boost Virtues through completion of specific levels of Rapport. The player can also obtain potions from completing specific tasks for Una in the endgame.
- Achievements: There are many achievements that can be obtained in Lost Ark. Some of them offer Virtue boosts as a reward.
