As Obi-Wan meditates, he finds himself reliving his past. His PTSD over his younger years haunts him gravely. Keen-eared fans will spot the iconic prequel characters like Yoda’s voice saying “Only pain you will find.”, then from Qui-Gon, “Obi-Wan, promise me you will train the boy.” a promise Kenobi believes he had failed. Finally, Anakin “If you're not with me, then you are my enemy. Don't make me kill you. I do not fear the Dark Side. I see through the lies of the Jedi.” Obi-Wan cannot move on from his trauma and is haunted by those he believes he has failed.

9 James Earl Jones Returns

One of the many reasons that Darth Vader is so iconic, is because of his commanding and deep voice. The ever-talented James Earl Jones has been the voice of Darth Vader in many mediums since Star Wars debuted in 1977. As well as Hayden Christensen returning as Vader, fans can rejoice to know that James Earl Jones has also returned as the booming voice of the Sith Lord.

There had been a great deal of speculation on if Hayden Christensen would voice Vader himself, but now it is all but confirmed that the iconic James Earl Jones will reprise the Sith once more. From his first word in the show, Vader commands the respect and fear that he has brought upon the galaxy for over 45 years.

8 Anakin Skywalker's Ghost

As Obi-Wan and Leia arrive on the mining system planet of Mapuzo, they find themselves in dangerous territory. The Empire has moved out homes and families to further its mining operations. The growing danger isn’t helped by Obi-Wan’s deteriorating mental state after Reva tells him in episode 2 that Anakin Skywalker survived their duel on Mustafar.

Since the show’s first episode, Obi-Wan has been plagued by Anakin. Both in his nightmares, and in the state of the galaxy. Every day is spent in a torturous reminder of who and what he lost. Episode 3 plays deeper into this, as Obi-Wan stares into the distance and sees Anakin in his Revenge of the Sith Jedi robes. Anakin looks at him with anger, and vengeance, a wonderful display of emotion from Hayden Christensen.

As Leia and Obi-Wan have a heart-to-heart about families, Obi-Wan has to play ignorant to Leia, who knows that Bail Organa is not her real father. This leads Obi-Wan to open up about his own family, and due to the Jedi Order taking him when he was very young, he has little memory but remembers a baby brother.

This reveal had fans scrambling for answers on who Obi-Wan’s brother could be. For many years, fans believed Obi-Wan's brother was Owen Lars, Luke Skywalker's uncle. This was due to a dream Obi-Wan had during his time as Qui-Gon's Padawan, in which he dreamed of a brother named Owen. However, Star Wars later explained that this dream was a vision of the future Owen Lars and not Owen Kenobi.

Fans of the hit sitcom Scrubs might have been in for a shock when they first met the Empire fanatic Freck. This hybrid of a giant humanoid mole was voiced by none other than Zach Braff, who played J.D. in Scrubs.

Star Wars is home to many strange and wonderful cameos from celebrities. Since Star Wars has been loved and adored by so many since the 70s, it’s no surprise that other Hollywood stars would want to appear. Whether that be as a stormtrooper like Tom Hardy in The Last Jedi, or as a scoundrel played by Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ bassist Flea.

Tala tells Obi-Wan that there are safe houses like this all over the galaxy, and then Obi-Wan spots a quote written by an old friend, Quinlan Vos.

Tala informs Kenobi that Quinlan has been helping surviving Jedi, confirming to fans that the character is still very much alive. This character was first seen in the background of The Phantom Menace and was later the subject of a few Clone Wars episodes.

4 The Planet Jabiim

Jabiim is mentioned by Tala as the planet where surviving Jedi are sent by helpers across the galaxy to find new identities after Order 66. Jabiim is a planet that has been in the Star Wars canon before and isn't the first Easter egg for die-hard fans to recognize.

Jabiim first appeared in the Legends comic Star Wars Republic issue 55. What’s notable about Jabiim is that it’s the planet Obi-Wan and Anakin battle on from the Separatist rule. It is unknown whether this is non-canon, but the mention of the planet in the Disney Plus show spurs some hope or at least speculation.

Tala’s importance in the remaining three episodes is yet to be seen, but so far, she has proved herself as a great ally to the surviving Jedi, and Obi-Wan himself. She spends her time disguised as an Imperial officer and helps Jedi get to safer worlds. She dared to stand against Darth Vader, and rescue Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The protagonist of Fallen Order, Cal Kestis, infiltrates this fortress to take back a Jedi Holocron stolen by the Second Sister. The events of the game end in Cal’s escape, along with the Second Sister’s death by Darth Vader. These events happened around 5 years before the Disney Plus show Obi-Wan Kenobi.
