The Witcher’s second season is lined up as one of Netflix’s biggest releases after Henry Cavill conquered the role in the show's first outing, so much so that the actor's voice will be included in a new Geralt of Rivia plushie that takes The Witcher’s merchandise to a place it's never been before.

By now it’s become clear that Netflix loves Andrzej Sapkowski’s books and CD Projekt Red’s games due to The Witcher becoming one of the company’s most-watched original shows, which is why it continues to double down on its Gwent hand with more Witcher content. Besides the main live-action series, there's also Vesemir’s Nightmare of the Wolf anime, plus more content with the Blood Origin prequel, a kids-friendly Witcher, and a third season for Cavill’s show also planned for the future.

Unlike most of The Witcher figurines out there made by McFarlane and similar toy manufacturers, this Geralt of Rivia mutates into a soft and cute version of himself that somehow resembles Cavill. The highlight of it all is that 11-inch Witcher comes with real grunts and voice spoken by the actor, including some quotes that “may not be suitable for children” as detailed on Walmart’s site where the Geralt plush is currently available for pre-order at $34.96 before it’s officially released on December 19.

This makes the cuddly White Wolf a perfect Christmas gift or just the right item to celebrate the premiere of The Witcher’s second season, just keep in mind that despite its looks there’s a chance this Geralt also swears a bit. Unfortunately, at the time of writing there is no singing Jaskier plush that can join go along with this Geralt singing “Toss a Coin to your Witcher”.

Luckily, Netflix is helping fans that already went through The Witcher novels and games cope with the long wait that will precede a next-gen Witcher game, whether it stars Geralt or not. Although considering how players are still discovering new things in The Witcher 3, even five years after its release, and CD Projekt Red’s precedent with Cyberpunk 2077, it’s probably for the best that the studio takes ample time to put it together.

Geralt has gained won his place in the hearts of many, both young and old, so it's only fitting that he gets this type of merchandise made after him. Nevertheless, there's always a chance some might not like this cute take on Geralt and join the ranks of the many unpopular opinions about The Witcher.

The Witcher season two is coming to Netflix on December 17, 2021.
