Players will lose health in The Walking Dead: Destinies if a walker manages to grab ahold of them. If their health bar gets too low, they'll get a Scar, which makes it impossible for them to perform certain offensive or defensive actions.

When gamers' health reaches a critical level, they'll either become Cramped, Sore, or Wounded; these debuffs are considered Scars, as they affect the character's physical condition. However, if they get too close to death, their mental state will also be affected, and they'll become Panicked or even Wrathful. Here are the negative effects of these Scars and debuffs:

There are several ways to remove scars and debuffs in The Walking Dead: Destinies; each negative status effect is different, so gamers will have to act accordingly.

Players will have to perform an execution to remove most scars in The Walking Dead: Destinies. So, if they're Sore, Cramped, or Wounded, players will be able to heal their Scar by killing an enemy with an adrenaline attack, as this improves their health and will heal their physical condition.

Players can increase their adrenaline by taking out enemies.

The Walking Dead: Destinies has a stress system, which is how characters can get debuffs related to their mental state. In order to get rid of stress-induced debuffs, such as Panicked and Wrathful, gamers will have to remove themselves from the stressful situation or heal up.
