Although the base game is a ton of fun already, buying the extra content that has been released for the game adds even more fun. There are several game packs that have been released for the game that often add new clothing, furniture, and gameplay aspects like a new career, new world, and other functions.

5 Jungle Adventure

If you've got a Sim that loves to go on adventures, you're definitely in luck. There are multiple different neighborhoods that exist in the game that Sims are able to travel to in order to visit different restaurants, venues, and museums. But, if your Sim is looking for more of an exotic adventure, then you might be interested in sending them on a trip to Selvadorada.

Selvadorada is the world that was introduced in The Sims 4: Jungle Adventure. This pack adds an entire world, a ton of new items, and a ton for your Sim to do while they're on a trip to the jungle. Sims can learn to excavate ancient artifacts, explore mysterious temples, and become entrenched in the local culture of Selvadorada. But be careful! It can be pretty dangerous out there. Although Selvadorada is a world that Sims can't actually live in, they can still enjoy a wonderful vacation there for a few days whenever they want to take a trip to a brand new place.

4 Realm Of Magic

If you're someone that totally loves magic, you've probably already got your eye on The Sims 4: Realm of Magic. This game pack is one that was highly anticipated and added a ton of new features to the game. Although playing a human Sim is a ton of fun, there have been multiple packs that have given players the ability to play a supernatural creature of some type. While we're still waiting for some creatures like werewolves to be added into the game, Spellcasters are pretty awesome.

Realm of Magic added two magical new worlds to the game - one where your Sim can live and one where they can travel to the magical realm in order to use cauldrons, study new spells, and learn the ways of being a Spellcaster from the three different Sages. Sims are also able to duel against other Spellcasters and can even get a wand, a broom, and a familiar!

3 Dine Out

Although Sims are able to go to various different venues around the different neighborhoods in order to get a cup of coffee, sip some "juice" at the bar, or even have a bite to eat at one of the food stands in San Myshuno, many Sims fans that don't already have this game pack might notice something is missing: restaurants. Sims that want to go out on a romantic date aren't able to head out to dinner - unless they're going to be having it at one of their houses. But, if you purchase The Sims 4: Dine Out, then that all changes! Finally, restaurants are part of your Sim's world!

This game pack didn't just add the ability for Sims to eat at a restaurant that has been placed in one of the neighborhoods. Players can also build, decorate, and completely manage a restaurant that their Sim owns. They'll have control over the menu, the people that are hired, and the general experience that other Sims come in to eat have when they visit the restaurant.

2 Vampires

Tired of creating human Sim after human Sim? Bored with leading a completely average life where your Sim has to sleep, eat, and go out every day to work? Luckily, The Sims 4 has a variety of different supernatural creatures that you can create when you're bored of humans. Other packs have added mermaids, Spellcasters, and even aliens. But this game pack is one that added a much spookier and more mysterious creature into the game.

With The Sims 4: Vampires, players can create a vampire and live in the super spooky and mysterious neighborhood of Forgotten Hollow with the other premade vampires that already call it home. This pack added a ton of spooky, antique-inspired decor and clothing items, perfect for an immortal creature to wear and decorate their home with. It also added fun new game mechanics for the way that vampires behave and live their lives.

1 Paernthood

If you're the type of Sims 4 player that prefers to create a Sim, find them love, and start a family, then The Sims 4: Parenthood is definitely the game pack that you need to pick up. This pack may seem like it's a little on the underwhelming side compared to other game packs that add vampires and Spellcasters to the game, but anyone that prefers to play a family of Sims from the parents' wedding to their children moving out will know that Parenthood added so much to the game.

Along with adding a ton of clothing and furniture items, this game added a lot to the way that familiar relationships work. The pack added new interactions between parents and their children, a new skill, and new family activities like working together on school projects that the children bring home to work on. It also added character values like responsibility, manners, and conflict resolution that will go up or down based on your Sim's behavior as they grow up. For people that play families in their Sims game, this pack is a must!
