The Nifty Knitting stuff pack added the Knitting skill to The Sims 4, allowing Sims to make all sorts of clothes and furniture options from a simple ball of yarn. Like many stuff packs, it gave players tons of new clothing options as well as adorable furniture to use to decorate their Sims' homes, but that's not all.

This stuff pack actually added a great feature to Sims' phones - the Plopsy app. This guide will tell players everything they need to know about the Plopsy feature in The Sims 4, including how to sell and buy handcrafted items on it.

How to Access the Plopsy App

Gamers that own the Nifty Knitting Sims 4 stuff pack can access the Plopsy App using their in-game phones. To open it, they must select the Shopping tab on their Sim's phone and then choose the "Browse Plopsy" option.

Players can only use the Plopsy app on their phones to shop and order items online. They can purchase all sorts of craftable items, depending on the packs that they own. They can acquire a lot of knittables and paintings since these types of items are compatible with the base game and Nifty Knitting. However, if they own packs like Cottage Living, for example, they'll be able to buy handmade cross-stitch hoops.

On the top right corner of the menu, Simmers can check out how long they'll have to wait for the list to refresh. It's updated quite regularly.

Once an item is purchased, it'll appear in the Sim's inventory right away; there's no need to wait for it to arrive in the mail.

How to Sell On Plopsy

Plopsy is a great way to earn money in The Sims 4. Instead of selling items in Build Mode or directly from their inventory, gamers can list handmade items on Plopsy and wait for someone to make an offer. It might take a little while longer for them to be sold, but if the Sim isn't in a tough spot financially and they can afford to wait, it's usually worth it.

Gamers can list an item on Plopsy by selecting it in Live Mode or from their inventory. Listing an item on Plopsy only costs five Simoleons, and it'll stay up on the web for a week unless someone makes an offer to buy it. If the player wants to unlist an item in the future, it can be done at any time.

Once an offer has been made, gamers will have to select the item while on their home lot so that they can mail it to the buyer. Then, they must choose the "Ship on Plopsy" option, but if they're not satisfied with the offer, they should choose the "Relist on Plopsy" option instead. They will receive the money instantly, and later on, they'll also get a feedback comment from the buyer.

Selling items on Plopsy increases a Sim's Entrepreneur skill.

The Sims 4 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
