Usually, the Finchwick fair is held in Henford-on-Bagley's Finchwick (next to the Garden and Grocery Stalls in The Sims 4). Every week, players can participate and sign up their livestock or products to win prizes and Simoleons. The theme changes every week, so Simmers need to be prepared for anything.

How To Win The Finchwick Fair In The Sims 4

Simmers can enter the competition by either submitting a product; oversized corp, normal corp, a pie, etc, or livestock; cows, llamas, and chickens. The rarer the product or livestock, the more chances players have to win.

Every fair has two competitions, each with its own stall. Simmers need to walk to each one and select Submit an Entry. Before traveling to the fair, make sure the products are in the Inventory as well as the animals. The latter can be added by clicking on the animal, then selecting Actions, Put in Inventory.

There are five themes for the Finchwick fair, these themes are:

  • Garden Fair
  • Oversized Corp Fair
  • Llama Fair
  • Cow Fair
  • Chicken Fair

The Garden Fair

The two competitions are Garden and pie. To win the first one, players will have to put up their Gardening Skills to the test. By bringing rare harvestable fruit like Pomegranate and Dragon fruit, they will surely win this competition. The common and uncommon harvestables like Lemons and Strawberries can also be submitted. The important part is to take care of the plant daily by watering, weeding, and fertilizing it until the day of the competition.

Additionally, having a Golden Chicken bless the plants will improve any harvestable quality.

To win the second competition, Simmers need to bake a pie with rare ingredients. Making the pie with an uncommon egg like the rainbow one, and perfect quality fruits will result in an Excellent pie. Always remember that the fresher the ingredients, the better.

Oversized Corp Fair

Like the Garden theme, this one will have the pie competition. Players need to select any type of pies available in the Cook Category from the fridge. It is advised to use fresh, rare ingredients, although Simmers can still make a perfect pie with normal ingredients.

The other competition is the oversized corp. Players need to bring their biggest, freshest, most perfect oversized product. They can start by buying the new Gardening Plot from Buy Mode. After that, click on it and Purchase Oversized Corps Seeds. Plant it and take care of it like any other plant. Simmers can also buy fertilizers that will keep the plant weeds and bugs free. It requires time to fully grow, so be patient. The corp can be put in the fridge until the fair begins.

Llama Fair

By purchasing a Livestock Stall from the Build Mode, players can buy llamas. Only one llama can fit in a single stall. To win the first competition, Simmers need to have a high friendship with their livestock. In addition, the llama needs to be clean, well-fed, and happy. Feeding them treats like the Golden and Rainbow ones will make them give different colored wool, which leads to the second competition.

Since the first competition was for llamas, the second one will obviously be a wool competition. The color and quality depend on the color and mood of the llama respectively. If Simmers befriended their animal and fed it special treats, they'll be rewarded with high-quality rare wool.

Cow Fair

Like the llamas, cows are big and can only live in a Livestock Stall. Cleaning the shed and refilling the food is a crucial step for winning the first competition. Other than cleaning and stocking the stall regularly, players also need to clean and socialize with the cow to have a good relationship. Once it's in good shape, Simmers can now take it to the fair. They can give it a treat or keep the cow normal. The important part is to have high needs.

The second competition is milk. It can be normal or rare milk. Feeding the cow treats like the Flirty or Rainbow trait will result in special milk after milking it. It is possible to submit plain milk that is of excellent quality. But, rare milk has a slightly better chance of winning.

Chicken Fair

This theme has the chicken and the egg competition. Players have to submit their best chicken and its product. A well-fed, clean, and content chicken is an important aspect. Additionally, feeding it the Golden treat will transform it into a golden chicken, which can bless any harvestable for other competitions. Simmers can also submit this special chicken for the fair.

As for the second competition, any rare, excellent egg will do. Players can obtain them by giving the chickens treats and eventually they'll lay special eggs. Entering the fair with these eggs will surely give any Sim a Confidence Moodlet. Normal eggs can also work as long as they are of the maximum quality.
