How to Host a Ranch Animal Event
Goaled events are ways for Sims to have social gatherings and win rewards by completing specific tasks. There are several ways to plan an event in The Sims 4. Players can use a cell phone if they want to start the event immediately. Find the Social app and scroll to "Plan a Social Event" to pull up the event menu. Then, select "Ranch Animal Day" and choose the guests and location. Sims can also hire an Animal Tender for the event.
Players can choose a venue or their own home. Additionally, there is an open invitation list if they want random Sims to attend. The event menu can also be accessed from the calendar if players wish to schedule the event for a later day. After starting the event, a few things are needed to ensure all the goals can be completed.
First, a Ranch Animal Day requires a few farm animals like mini goats, sheep, or horses for Sims to interact with. All can be purchased in Chestnut Ridge from a Community Board, or by clicking on a Horse Bed from Build/Buy mode. If players have Cottage Living installed, they can also get Cows, Llamas, and Chickens for the guests to visit with. A Fire Pit is also needed for those who hope to earn a gold trophy for the event.
Ranch Animal Event Awards
A Ranch Animal Day's main tasks are interacting with the farm animals and guests. The goals list for the event is quite long, so players should ensure they are ready to be active hosts before it starts.
The guests will complete most of the goals autonomously as long as animals are around. Sims should also make sure that their relationship with the household animals is high enough to have them complete tricks. After the event ends, Sims will get a medal and a community donation to the farm. It should also be noted that the higher grade achieved on the event, the higher the contribution to the farm will be at the end.
