How To Get Goats and Sheep In The Sims 4
Mini Goats and Sheep are adopted through several methods in The Sims 4:
Phone
To get the Goats and Sheep through the phone, select the Home icon and select the Call Ranch Animal Exchange option. Scroll down and click on Buy Mini Goats and Mini Sheep to see all available breeds.
Animal Feeder
If there's no Animal Feeder on the Lot, purchase one from the Buy Mode. Next, choose Call Ranch Animal Exchange and proceed to adopt the mini pets.
Ranch Community Board
In Chestnut Ridge, there's a Ranch Community Board that has many useful features in The Sims 4. One of them is adopting Mini Goats and Mini Sheep. Simply click on the board and choose Call Ranch Animal Exchange then Buy Mini Goats and Mini Sheep.
Bits & Bales Mercantile
The final method is to approach the Bits & Bales Mercantile building in Chestnut Ridge. The only available options are Sell Items, Shop for Groceries and Goods, and Buy Mini Goats And Mini Sheep.
How To Take Care Of Mini Goats And Sheep In The Sims 4
Mini Goats and Sheep are easy enough to manage in The Sims 4. The pets’ needs are:
- Happiness: Depends on the overall mood of the pet. For example, if all needs are met, the status will be Very Happy.
- Hygiene: Click on the Mini Sheep or Mini Goat and select Care then Clean to take care of Hygiene.
- Hunger: Players can either Bottle Feed the mini pets under the Care category or click on an Animal Feeder and choose Call Goats and Sheep to Eat.
- Attention: Any type of Socialization, playing, or petting with the mini Goats and Sheep will count towards the Attention need.
Benefits Of Adopting Mini Goats And Sheep
Payers will be rewarded for their hard work in taking care of the animals. Goats can be milked and players will get two Bottles of Milk. This will certainly help if Simmers are doing any Simple Living challenges in The Sims 4. Additionally, upon building a strong bond with the pet, the Goat can help in Gardeningby eating any weeds.
The same thing happens when taking care of a Sheep. Simmers can shear its coat and benefit from the Wool by either selling or using it in crafting projects. A strong friendship also allows the Sheep to aid in Gardeningby eating the bugs.
Keep in mind that if Simmers don't have the Cottage Living Expansion Pack, then Milk and Wool can only be sold for Simoleons and can't be kept in the Inventory.
