The Growing Together expansion pack added tons of gameplay possibilities to The Sims 4. There are three new social events to explore in this pack, and they suit the various Sim life stages perfectly: the Slumber Party, the Baby Shower, and the Family Reunion.
The Slumber Party is one of the most fun social events added to the game so far; it's a great way to bond with friends and share wonderful experiences with them. This guide will talk about this Sims 4 event and show players how they can become the best Slumber Party host there is.
How To Host A Slumber Party In The Sims 4
Slumber Parties can be thrown by any Sim as long as they're a child or older. However, it's not possible for a kid to pick up the phone and plan a social event, so an older Sim must do it for them.
To throw a Slumber Party, a teen or an adult Sim has to pick up the phone, select the Plan a Social Event option, and then they can set the host to a child if they so desire, or they can host their own party.
Slumber Party Event Rewards
The Slumber Party isn't difficult to complete, but it might be slightly more challenging than the Baby Shower, for example, if the player is trying to reach a Gold Medal. It has more tasks that need to be completed, and they require more effort than those in other events.
There are various standard minor tasks that Sim can complete to boost their event performance, such as dancing, playing games, and eating at the same time. Having a stereo and a game or chess table is a great idea for the Slumber Party and any other Sims 4 social event.
During a sleepover, there's an exclusive interaction that will automatically add a pizza to the Sim's inventory; to do this, the player must select a playable Sim and choose the Get Slumber Party Snacks option.
The main goal of this sleepover event is to simply Get Some Sleep; this can be achieved by selecting a playable participating Sim and choosing the Ask Guests to Set Up Sleeping Bags. This opens up the interaction that allows Sims to tell stories in their Sleeping Bags (another party task), but most importantly now players can select their Sim and choose the Time for Bed option.
After going to bed, Sims can even carry out a sleeping bag prank on those that have fallen asleep earlier.
Depending on how many tasks the player completes they will be able to be given an event rank and a reward accordingly. Here are all the available rewards:
