How to Build the Acting Skill
The Acting Skill is a major skill in The Sims 4, so it has ten levels. Each level introduces new ways to use Acting while conversing or interacting with the world around them. The Trouper's Looking Glass is an unlockable mirror that boosts Acting Skills when Sims use it to practice. Being in a Confident mood also increases the learning rate.

Join the Acting Career
Joining the Acting Career is the best place to utilize a Sim's Acting skills. Sims will have to audition for gigs, meet cast members, and attend an active workday where they shoot entire scenes and movies. However, the Acting Skill is only one of many that successful actors and actresses must learn. Most gigs also require high Charisma, Fitness, Guitar, and Comedy skills to land the highest-paying gigs.
Nevertheless, having a high Acting Skill means Sims are more likely to carry out the scenes successfully and earn large amounts of money and fame points. Some gigs can even lead to Sims being nominated for awards, and they will be invited to the award show. In addition, Sims with high fame levels have more perks, such as VIP access and discounts at certain lots.
Perform For Tips
Sims who want extra cash can do street performances as solo acts or with another Sim to earn tips. The more Sims enjoying the show, the more likely Sims will make more money. Performing for tips can be done on any lot, but be careful in public because if another famous Sim shows up, they will have all the attention on them.
Going to events or festivals is the best chance to encounter larger crowds, but Sims can also perform for tips at home. Throwing a party or hosting a social event is an excellent way to gather Sims in one place to perform for them.
