Usually, Simmers play The Sims 4 to create an imaginary story where a couple falls in love with each other after a bad breakup. However, after the new patch 120 of The Sims 4, it's not a fantasy anymore. The game added a new feature called Scenario, which can be found in the Main Menu. Players can start the Scenario on a new or existing save file.
There are a lot of different challenges that players can choose from. For example, the Finding Love After A Breakup Scenario tells the story of two Young Adults who were madly in love with each other, but their relationship broke apart. If players wish to help the couple fix their relationship, this article is for them.
How to Complete the Finding Love After A Breakup Scenario in The Sims 4
When players enter Create A Sim, they need to make two Young Adults who are not related. If more Sims are added, the challenge will be canceled. After entering a world and choosing a Lot, the Scenario will begin. There are three outcomes for this challenge; Rock Solid Romance, Forever Friends, and Better Together.
Rock Solid Romance
Upon arriving, Simmers will notice that both Sims are sad because of a bad breakup. If they picked the Relationship option on the bottom right, it will show that both Sims have the Friendship Bar and the Romance one in red.
The first outcome is the easiest to achieve. All players need to do is make one of the Sims falls in love with any other Sim. Once they become Soulmates, the challenge will be completed and they'll achieve the Rock Solid Romance outcome. Marriage isn't necessary for this outcome.
Forever Friends
On the other hand, if Simmers wish to fix the broken relationship, they need to keep in mind that it will be time-consuming. This means the characters will constantly have bad Moodlets and it will be hard to successfully complete a positive interaction.
To begin with, if one of the two tries to talk to the other, negative emotions will result from the conversation immediately. So, players shouldn't force them to have a conversation as it will be pointless. Instead, let them work out their negative emotions so that they can tolerate each other. The mirror is a great way to shorten the period of bad Moodlets.
After a good amount of time, the two should start tolerating each other. At this point, players need to start making them have small pleasant talks. For instance, If one likes comedy, the other should keep telling jokes. When small talks transform into deep conversations, the Friendship Bar will be emptied and it will be replaced by a green Friendship Bar. Players should keep this up until their relationship status becomes Best Friend. After that, the Scenario will be completed with the Forever Friends outcome and each Sim will be rewarded with 5,000 Reward Points.
If players are having a difficult time, here's a quick tip. First, make the two start a conversation and then pick the Friendly Category. Afterward, Simmers need to search for the Give a Gift option. It will lead to two types of gifts; friendly and Simoleons. Players have to pick Simoleons and give the other Sim at least 500 or higher. If they keep repeating this action, the Friendship Bar will decrease faster.
Better Together
If Simmers don't wish for the couple to become friends, they shouldn't pick the option mentioned before. Instead, they need to keep building the two Sims' friendship until they are comfortable with any romance option. After players achieve enough interactions in the Romance Category, the red Bar will transform to pink.
Similar to the first outcome, once the two characters become Soulmates, the Scenario is finished and players will obtain the Better Together outcome along with 5,000 Reward Points.
