In Sims 4, there are dozens of challenges and tasks that will keep you busy for hours. You are also given various scenarios that you can choose to complete to receive a reward. You can pick and choose through these scenarios, determining which one would be best for your sim.
One scenario that seems to have caused a bit of confusion is the Engaged In Conflict scenario. Luckily, it isn't as difficult to complete as it seems, though there are some instances you may have to work through before you can reap the rewards from completing it.

How To Complete 'Engaged In Conflict' In The Sims 4
Unlike some of the other scenarios such as The Family Fortune scenario in Sims 4, this one isn't quite as complicated, and there are 4 possible results from it. In the main menu, select the Engaged In Conflict scenario, then choose a household (or create one).
It is suggested that you have a pre-made household of two sims who are not engaged or related, but have their love bar up a bit. If you choose a new household without any previous interactions, it could take longer to try and complete this scenario.
One misconception about this scenario is that you have to get engaged while enraged. Fortunately, you don't have to. You could take your time to build the love and friendship bar before jumping into any conflicts with the other sim and then getting engaged. However, it seems as if you don't have to have any conflict until after you're engaged. After you get engaged, you will have multiple options to complete this scenario.
- The first way is to get married and live happily ever after. You won't have to do anything special other than get married with no negative emotions between the two sims.
- Your second option is to get married but have unresolved negative sentiments between them. To get this one, you should create some negative emotions between the two sims during the wedding event and have red emotions at the bottom during the ceremony.
- For your third option, it will tell you to break up before the wedding. To do this, simply have your sims get engaged, then break up before they get married.
- The final option is to break off the wedding during the ceremony. When you begin the ceremony and are about to exchange rings, you will see an option to "call off the wedding."
Sometimes, however, when you begin the scenario with new sims, they will automatically start off angry. You will have to work to raise their friendship and romance bar enough to get engaged. A loophole without using mods or cheats is to have premade sims. With these premade roommate sims, raise their friendship bar and romance bar half way or so before saving the household. Load up this household in the scenario, then progress the relationship.
Engaged In Conflict Scenario Rewards
When you complete this scenario, it seems as if each Sim will receive 5,000 Satisfaction Points to spend how they wish. This is one of the many ways you can earn Satisfaction Points in The Sims 4.
