Described as a "ground-up remake of the original The Last of Us" on PlayStation's website, The Last of Us Part 1 is a new version of the critically acclaimed 2013 title. Announced earlier this year, The Last of Us Part 1 has been steadily showing off more details ahead of its release date in early September. However, alongside Naughty Dog's official reveals, leaks for The Last of Us Part 1 have also given fans a closer look at the gameplay, graphics, and more from the remake. Now, the latest leaks appear to show off some additional content being brought to The Last of Us Part 1. It appears that in the remake there will be an option to customize Ellie's look, giving multiple variations of her traditional long sleeve t-shirt under a short sleeve style. Not only will the player be able to give Ellie different t-shirts in The Last of Us Part 1, but it appears that each of these outfit variations has some sort of reference to an iconic PlayStation game.RELATED: The Last of Us Part 1 PC Release Date Could Be Sooner Than ExpectedSo far, fans have been able to spot references to all sorts of PlayStation games. There are of course nods to some classic titles, including references to Sly Cooper and the Resistance games, as Ellie can be seen sporting a blue shirt with the mask of the famous raccoon thief, as well as another graphic t-shirt that has a design very similar to the logo for Resistance 3. Some fans have taken this to indicate that a new Sly Cooper or Resistance game could be on the way, but others are doubtful of this.

As well, some newer PlayStation games are making cameo appearances in The Last of Us Part 1. Ghosts of Tsushima, Horizon, and PS5 exclusive Returnal all have t-shirts that Ellie can wear in The Last of Us Part 1. Of course, there are also a couple of shirts tied to Naughty Dog's other popular franchise Uncharted, and with the upcoming release of God of War: Ragnarok, many are glad to see Ellie sporting an outfit with the game's logo sprawled on the front.

From the screenshots of these customization options posted to Twitter, it appears that players will also be able to change the appearances of other items in-game, such as the guns and backpack. Joel will also have some similar customization options in The Last of Us Part 1. These additional features are not the first Naughty Dog has brought in for the remake, and there are a bunch of extra accessibility options being added to The Last of Us Part 1 as well.

The Last of Us Part 1 is scheduled to release on September 2 on PS5. A PC port is also in development.
