A The Last of Us Part 1 fan has shared an impressive video in which they catch a brick in mid-air. The Last of Us Part 1 is a full remake of the original PS3 game and it came out on PS5 earlier this month. A PC version is also in development, although it doesn’t have a set release date.

Naughty Dog has remade the game from the ground up, with a big emphasis on the visuals and character models. The Last of Us Part 1 features gameplay improvements as well, and users can choose between various graphics modes depending upon their preferences. While it doesn’t come with all the new moves and other enhancements introduced in The Last of Us Part 2, this version is probably the best way to experience the story. Now, one player has uploaded a new clip featuring an impressive series of events.

A user named dmoar31 has uploaded a clip featuring the mid-air brick catch. It shows Joel and Ellie exploring the area, and they come across a tripwire on the way to their destination. The player sees a bottle and a brick nearby, probably placed by Naughty Dog in case users don’t have one to throw at the tripwire. Joel picks up the bottle and throws it, and the brick goes flying as soon as the explosion occurs. Right at that moment, Joel catches the brick in mid-air as Ellie remarks on the incident.

Other players express their amazement at Joel catching the brick, with one stating that it high-fived dmoar31. According to dmoar31, this feature was not present in the original or remastered version of The Last of Us and looks to be newly added in the PS5 remake. Another fan uploaded a video of Ellie catching ammo in mid-air in The Last of Us Part 2, so users believe that Naughty Dog brought it over when they remade the game. One player jokingly states that the brick is too powerful to explode, but the rest of the comments appear impressed by the footage.

Fans have figured out other interesting details added to The Last of Us Part 1. For example, it reveals that Joel is 51 years old and takes medicine for anxiety, gastric ulcers, and high blood pressure. More information regarding all the improvements Naughty Dog made to the game will probably get revealed in the coming months as fans explore the world of The Last of Us Part 1.

The Last of Us Part 1 is available now for PS5 with a PC version also in development.
