While it will be at least another year before the show airs, another actor is showing interest in being cast in HBO's upcoming The Last of Us series.

Previously, HBO announced that it had partnered with PlayStation Production and the game's developer Naughty Dog to turn The Last of Us into a big-budget television series. Neil Druckmann, Vice President of Naughty Dog who served as the creative director for both TLOU games, will lead as the main writer in collaboration with Chernobyl's creator, Craig Mazin. She continues by praising The Last of Us by for its "beautiful story" and "wonderful narrative."

She says that she's not very good at the combat, but regardless, loves the game. Dever also notes that she's worked with Neil Druckmann on Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, which could mean that she has a higher chance of being invited to a casting call. Fans have also been quick to note that her voice sounds similar to Ellie's voice actress, Ashley Johnson's.
