The post-apocalyptic world of The Last Of Us 2 is a bleak one, and the story's relentless violence makes its lighter moments all the more important. Despite many players being wary of the character following her shocking introduction, Abby's half of the game provides some much-needed levity and, more importantly, opportunities to unlock trophies.

One of the more challenging trophies you can take on is Put My Name Up, a shiny bronze that is unlocked upon earning a high score in Mel and Owen's archery game. It's not as nerve-wracking as beating the game in Permadeath mode or deciding which skills to unlock first, but can quickly get frustrating if you aren't sure where the well-hidden targets are. Thankfully, this guide will make the competition trivial to ensure players secure some well-earned bragging rights.

How To Unlock the 'Put My Name Up' Trophy

Abby from The Last of Us looking at the viewer

If you're mopping up the trophies missed during a first playthrough or just curious when this one will appear, there's only one spot where Put My Name Up can be earned. It's during Abby's visit to the aquarium in 'Seattle Day 1 - Winter Visit', where a brightly colored bow can be found next to a blackboard. Inspecting it will quickly thrust players into an archery mini-game where they must find and shoot at least 10 targets before time runs out. Their locations are listed below.

  1. Above the shark door in front of Abby as the minigame begins
  2. Directly right of the first target, on top of a sheet
  3. Above the second target, resting inside the white 'coral'
  4. On top of the railing opposite the second target
  5. Left of the photo center sign
  6. In front of the photo center sign, on top of the counter
  7. Left of the Sunken Treasure Gift Shop sign
  8. On top of the information sign in the middle of the room
  9. On top of a stepladder near the giraffe mural
  10. Right of the previous target, on top of the 'The Open Ocean Experience' sign
  11. Above the previous target, on top of a railing
  12. On top of a rock opposite the shark door
  13. Above the previous target, on top of the large whale's flipper

Like most of the game's miscellaneous trophies, you've technically only got one chance to get Put My Name Up, but can restart the chapter for another attempt. Making a manual save right before picking up the bow (options, save game, and choose a slot) is recommended to save time. If you're struggling, the tips and information below may help.

  • There are thirteen targets to find in the museum, and you only need to hit ten of them to get this trophy.
  • Ammo is unlimited, but your arrows are effected by gravity.
  • You don't need to hit the bullseye or even the front of the target. The point will be counted so long as the target falls.
  • You can run around and get as close to the target as you'd like.
  • Make your shots more accurate by charging them up (Hold R2 for a few seconds before releasing)
  • Turn on aim assist by selecting Options and going to Controls. The options below will help you land your shots.
    • Aim Assist (with strength ranging from 1, weakest, to 10, strongest)
    • Lock-On Aim (on or off)
    • Lock-On Strength (with strength ranging from 1, weakest, to 10, strongest)
  • Weapon sway can also be disabled in the game's accessibility menu.
  • Turn on High Contrast Display to see targets easily - they'll have a red glow.
    • The option can be found by pressing Options, going to Accessibility and opening the Magnification and Visual Aids menu.

After hitting ten or more targets before time runs out, the Put My Name Up trophy will unlock.
