In The Crew: Motorfest, Playlists serve as the "main story." These are short campaigns themed around various cars and cultures that offer players a chance to drive a wide range of vehicles and take on a wide variety of challenges.

The Crew: Motorfest contains 15 Playlists at launch, though only five are introduced during the game's opening. These initial 5 all make for excellent starting adventures, but some are much better than others in terms of giving players immediate access to more vehicles and gameplay options. Initially, players will drive loaned vehicles when participating in the challenges that make up a Playlist. After completing a playlist, its races and challenges become unlocked and can be re-challenged using any appropriate vehicles from the player's garage.

Which Playlist Should I Pick First in The Crew: Motorfest

When it comes to picking a playlist to start with, players should strongly consider the "Hawaii Scenic Tour" playlist. Not only does it offer players a fantastic series of races that will take them all over the map and introduce them to the various locales, but it also offers some very useful and practical rewards.

By completing the "Explorers of Moana" and "Kingdom of Lani" Events during the playlist, players will receive the Proto Offshore MK2 powerboat and the Northrop Grumman F4U Corsair plane. These allow players to navigate the island more easily when taking on other playlists and exploring. Obviously, this isn't as important for players carrying over planes and boats from The Crew 2 using the collection transfer.

When it comes to learning the ins and outs of racing, getting the hang of drifting, and getting to drive some very fun cars, players should take on the "Made In Japan" playlist. It offers some excellent races, a great drifting course, and a drag race. The same is true of the "Rule the Streets" playlist, which offers drift and hypercar challenges in addition to plenty of street racing.

For a variety of street racing and off-roading with additional Monster Truck fun, players can take on the "American Muscle" playlist. "A Porsche Story: 911 Legacy" is also a great choice for street racing aficionados, with a Hypercar race, Rally Raid, and a Grand Prix race for added fun.

In summation, players who didn't bring a plane or boat with them from The Crew 2 should start with the Hawaii Scenic Tour to round out their collection and then dive into any playlist that offers an event type they want to try out. Clearing a playlist always rewards players with a new vehicle to drive as an added bonus.
