Netflix is bringing its hit social media-themed reality show/competition The Circle back for Season 6 starting Wednesday, April 17 with a four-episode premiere. Along with Love is Blind and Too Hot to Handle, The Circle has consistently been one of Netflix's top reality shows. The first season aired in early 2020 and was a massive success, perhaps given a boost thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic.

For those unfamiliar with Netflix's The Circle, the series sees individuals living in their own, isolated apartments and interacting with fellow contestants through social media messages. The hook is that the individuals involved can choose to be themselves or "catfish" the other contestants. The Circle likes to throw all kinds of twists and turns at its players over the course of each season, in typical reality show fashion.

The Circle Season 1 was followed by two more seasons in 2021 and another two seasons in 2022. No new season of The Circle premiered in 2023, so it's been quite a long wait for fans of the show. Luckily, the wait for new Circle episodes is nearly over. Netflix has confirmed that The Circle Season 6 will premiere on Wednesday, April 17 with a batch of four episodes. Four more episodes will drop on Wednesday, April 24, followed by four more on May 1, with the finale airing May 8.

This new season of The Circle will retain the basic premise of the previous seasons, but with a different filming location. Whereas the first five seasons of The Circle were filmed in England, Season 6 was filmed in Atlanta, Georgia. There will be other new twists in store to help The Circle Season 6 stand out from its predecessors, and it will be exciting to see what all it brings to the table come April 17.

While fans have had to wait a long time for The Circle Season 6, the good news is that Season 7 shouldn't take nearly as long to come out. Netflix subscribers should know that The Circle has already been renewed for Season 7. It's possible Season 7 will release this year, matching the cadence of Seasons 2-3 and Seasons 4-5, but it's also possible it will be saved for 2025. Circle fans will have to stay tuned for more information on that front.
