Striking Distance Studios' The Callisto Protocol launches in December, and the survival horror game has fans of the Dead Space series excited for Glen Schofield's latest horror adventure. Gamers have more than just the base game to look forward to, as there are a wealth of editions of The Callisto Protocol available for purchase, with each giving players different in-game bonuses and even some collectibles.

Set inside the Black Iron Prison on Callisto, a moon of Jupiter, The Callisto Protocol is a futuristic horror game that places players in the role of Jacob Lee, an inmate inside the maximum security facility. When an outbreak begins transforming his fellow inmates into monsters, fans must help guide Jacob through Black Iron while adapting their combat techniques to account for the evolving nature of the enemies they face in the third-person adventure. Similar to the Dead Space series, The Callisto Protocol is full of creative and gory death scenes for Jacob, with Striking Distance even going so far as to creating an achievement for seeing all the death scenes in the game.
