For example, Vought released a digital news series for The Boys season 3 called Seven on 7. Their social media accounts have been used to post reactions to plots or set up future plots with videos or statements from the company. They’ve now taken this idea a step forward.

The Boys season 4 hints were provided in a video where Vought International's Cameron Coleman further reveals the upcoming Homelander trial.

In a partnership with Opera GX, Vought International has launched a social media platform called V. In a press release by Opera GX, the platform is described as “an in-world social network.” V launched on October 3rd and will be up for a limited time to go along with The Boys spinoff series Gen V. Users will be able to interact with in-world profiles for different characters, including members of The Seven such as Homelander, A-Train, Black Noir, and dozens of other characters from Gen V and The Boys. Along with characters from the show are parody accounts of popular Twitter users.

Gen V fans can follow the show on V and keep up with the latest student rankings at Godolkin University as students battle for the top position. Opera GX says, “V will be continuously updated with new content throughout the season, echoing the hum of a real-world social network.” Fans can feel like they are actually in The Boys universe as they follow the events on social media. Thankfully, this is as close as fans can get to a real experience without Homelander allegedly frying you with his heat vision.

It should be noted that users will not be able to post anything V, as it is more so a page that simulates an in-universe social media platform. That may be disappointing for some fans, but V will still be a great way to follow Gen V and search the social media platform for The Boys Easter eggs and possibly hints of what's coming in future episodes.

The Boys season 4 has been highly anticipated, and although it was already finished shooting, it could not finish the editing due to the writers’ strike. Fans should stay tuned on V for any information about the upcoming season.

The Boys seasons 1-3 and Gen V are available on Amazon Prime Video.
