6 Good Time (2017)

Some movies don't get as much attention as they would have deserved, regardless of how great the actors are or how interesting the story turns out to be. Good Time is one of them. Pattinson plays Connie Nikas, a man who's not having such a good time, as he's trying to get his brother out of jail, but things don't seem to be going in his direction.

The movie soon becomes mesmerizing not only thanks to its visual style but also Pattinson's performance that comes across as more frenetic than usual, yet still realistic. Good Time creates a strong atmosphere since the viewers very well realize Connie faces terrible dangers and the likelihood that he will fail in his mission increases with each passing second. As a result, the audience is hooked right from the start to the very end.

5 The King (2019)

Even when he doesn't play the leading part, Robert Pattinson can be counted on to give a solid performance, one that's impossible to miss. The movie creates a realistic rendition of the Middle Ages and all the actors are excellent, including Robert Pattinson as the French Dauphin, who steals every scene. What makes this role different from Pattinson's previous work is also the fact that he sports a French accent in the movie, even though he comes from London.

4 The Lighthouse (2019)

Robert Pattinson has proven time and time again that he's willing to experiment and challenge himself to take on even the most unusual roles. And no other movie he has done so far symbolizes this as well as The Lighthouse. It focuses on two lightkeepers who are both named Thomas and try to stay sane while taking care of the lighthouse in the 1890s.

What makes the movie even more extraordinary is its black and white format, which differs from the majority of today's movies, and helps to conjure up an atmosphere of the times when the story is taking place. The Lighthouse isn't oriented at a casual moviegoer but anybody who likes to cross boundaries and experiment might find it fascinating. It helps that both Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe are excellent in the leading roles.

3 Tenet (2020)

Neil and the Protagonist from Tenet

Christopher Nolan is one of the most popular directors of the 21st century, so any actor who gets to work with him in a major capacity can congratulate themselves. Tenet offers a complex story that revolves around a different form of time travel. Every little detail in the movie is important, so like Nolan's other movies, it's wise to watch Tenet more than once to understand it better.

That's no sacrifice since the story is not only captivating but the cast is also excellent. While John David Washington plays the leading role, Robert Pattinson's Neil is also highly important for the plot and Pattinson once again delivers a performance that doesn't disappoint.

2 Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire (2005)

Cedric Diggory Goblet of Fire Maze

Robert Pattinson's first major role was that of Cedric Diggory, the Hogwarts Triwizard Tournament finalist, in the fourth Harry Potter movie. Even though Cedric and Harry were supposed to be rivals in the tournament, they could have been friends thanks to Pattinson's charm and warmth he put in the role.

He managed to leave an impression even on a relatively small space, so by the time the ending rolled around, the viewers were already attached to Cedric Diggory. That's what made his subsequent death at the hands of Peter Pettigrew even more devastating, especially when the fans realized that Cedric was just 17 years old and had his entire life ahead of him. His death also marked the series' definite departure to a darker mood and more serious storytelling.

1 The Batman (2022)

Unlike Robert Pattinson's older movies, the overall rating of The Batman is more likely to change, whether it means it's going to rise or drop, that remains to be seen. At the moment, though, The Batman is the best-rated movie of Pattinson's career, proving that Pattinson made the iconic role his own.

This version of Batman is different from the previous ones; younger, less experienced, but still determined to bring justice to Gotham and solve the series of crimes plaguing it. Pattinson brings a unique determination to the role that makes his hero easy to cheer on. It helps that the actor has believable chemistry with other characters, such as Catwoman or Commissioner James Gordon, played by Zoë Kravitz and Jeffrey Wright, respectively.
