Since the success of Warner Brother's reboot The Batman, fans can't wait for the sequel. The underestimated villain, The Riddler, kicks off the franchise, and proves to be one of the most dangerous villains Gotham City has ever seen. The Riddler nearly takes down Batman and the entire city of Gotham, however Batman perceivers, and saves the city. The ending draws audiences in at the end when Paul Dano is sent to Arkham Asylum and meets the Joker. Now, rumors are swirling about the appearance of one of Batman's must trusted allies appearing in the next movie.

With Catwoman fleeing Gotham and Alfred healing from an explosion that nearly killed him, Batman is going to need some serious help. According to well-known internet source MyTimeToShineHello, Dick Grayson aka Robin The Boy Wonder is rumored to make an appearance in the highly anticipated The Batman 2. On Top of that, this version of Robin is also rumored to be quite a bit younger than what fans have seen on screen, with word from unnamed sources indicating that he will be just 13 years old. Robin's role varies from franchise to franchise, so it will be interesting to see if he will become a permanent sidekick or just a little extra help for Batman.

In the Batman comic universe, Bruce Wayne sees a little bit of himself in Robin and there are multiple Robins throughout the comics. Wayne, even though cold and distant, cares for every single Robin he takes in. Taking source material into consideration fans can only hope there is a strong bond between Batman and Robin in the next film.

Batman proves to be a successful and timeless comic book adaptation whether it's in the form of video games or film. From Tim Burton to Christopher Nolan, every director has left their mark on the DC Universe. Fans can distinctly tell apart each trilogy comparing and contrasting, arguing which director did it best. Even the villains have their own special moments, who can embody the most cunning evil there is in the comics. The most important fact is that Batman will always be a superhero staple. There are many different routes to take when trying to come up with a fresh new take on the internally tortured Bat.
