The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Game Is Swapping Developers

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre game confirms it will soon be swapping developers in a surprise announcement that befuddled the fandom.

Publisher Gun Interactive's official YouTube account posted a short video that teased the new Hands Killer coming on June 11. Hands is mostly covered in shadow in the video, but he appears to take on the appearance of an evil biker by donning a leather jacket, blue jeans, long hair, and a hammer. Hands appears to be another original creation instead of being inspired by one of the Texas Chain Saw Massacre movies; however, the video does not hint much at what abilities Hands might come with. His hammer and physical strength will probably play a role in his attributes, but other than that info, fans will need to wait until Texas Chain Saw Massacre fully unveils its newest Killer.

Texas Chain Saw Massacre New Killer Teaser Video

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre has released other new content recently, like a May 14 update that added a nighttime variant to the Nancy's House map. The variant, which introduces a stormy setting to the level, is apparently only the first of its kind, as developers explained that all maps will receive storm variants in the future. This was preceded by an April 30 update that introduced a bunch of changes to perks, characters, and various gameplay mechanics.

It's not clear whether Hands' arrival next month will be accompanied by other gameplay improvements. However, it certainly seems possible seeing that Virginia's introduction in March came as part of a larger update that balanced various characters. If this is the case again, players will need to wait a bit longer until the developers reveal any of the balance or gameplay changes coming on June 11.

Recently, Texas Chain Saw added free content for its most dedicated players as a show of thanks to the game's community. Those who reach level 99 can now unlock the all-black Blackout cosmetic items for both Family and Victim characters.
