While progressing through the main campaign of Temtem and exploring the world of Airborne Archipelago, players will come across different Dojos. Players will have to defeat the Dojo Master residing within them to advance and get to new locations, which can often be quite challenging. Fighting against Dojo Master's is a real showcase of the player's strength with their Temtem, not a challenge to be taken lightly.

Luckily for players, this handy guide will detail exactly how to reach Tihani, the Nanga Dojo Master, which is the third Dojo players will encounter in Temtem. It will also describe what Temtem she will take into battle and their weaknesses so players can be prepared for the upcoming fight and defeat her without breaking a sweat.

How To Reach Tihani, The Nanga Dojo Master

Temtem, Nanga Dojo

Upon entering the Nanga Dojo, they will notice that it is incredibly similar to the previous Dojo players will have encountered, the Mokupuni Dojo. Players must bypass more sets of log platforming puzzles to reach Tihani.

As players first enter the dojo, they should immediately head left and cross these moving logs. Battle against this young tamer and open the chest behind him to get the Pansunscreen item. This reduces damage taken by any Fire Techniques.

Head to the right side of the dojo and Temtem up against the tamer. Open the chest behind them, with a Magma Cannon technique course inside.

Once the player has defeated these two tamers, they can progress forward to the middle section. Once they've bypassed the first initial section, there will be two tamers waiting that will need to be beaten to advance. Make quick work of them, and the players will see a sprawling log platforming puzzle directly in front of them, with plenty of bushes.

Be careful not to jump into a bush platform, as the player will then be trapped and teleported to the start or the last checkpoint they reached. This section counts as a checkpoint, so players do not need to worry if they mistime their jumps, as they won't lose too much progress.

Once they've reached the end of this section, One-Eyed Matthew will be waiting on a wooden platform. Defeat him, and open up the chest behind him, containing two Balm+, essential for the fight against Tihani.

Now there is only one tamer left in the way. Defeat them and open up the next chest with two Tonic+ inside. This next small platform moves very swiftly, so players must exercise their patience and wait for the right opportunity to cross. Make sure to have healed up for the battle ahead, and prepare for a tough fight against Tihani!

The Fight Against Tihani

Temtem, Tihani Nanga Dojo Master

Tihani has a full squad of six tough Temtem. They all vary in their types, meaning players will need to be very careful about which Temtem they decide to use against her. Tihani's squad are all ranged between levels 33- 38, so players must grind their Temtem's levels to at least 35 to ensure this fight goes smoothly.

Since half of Tihani's squad is weak against Electric-types, it would be a good idea for players to have a strong Electric-type in their roster. A good Electric type is Nessla, who can use Chain Lightning to damage two enemies while self-healing with the Electric Synthesize passive trait. Ganki is also a suitable choice and is commonly found on starting island, Deniz, around the Windward Fort.

Four of her Temtem are also weak to Toxic Techniques. Luckily for players, they should have encountered the TC:007 Noxious Bomb Technique Course, which they should teach to as many of their Temtem as possible to gain the advantage. It is a powerful skill that deals 100 Toxic damage to enemies and is sure to wipe out Tihani's team even if the player is slightly underleveled.

Once Tihani has been defeated, she will reward players with a nice sum of 1820 pansuns. A teleporter will appear on her platform and at the front of the dojo, so players can avoid the awkward log platforming puzzle. Like all other Dojo Masters, Tihani can be rechallenged weekly to earn some excellent rewards.

Temtem is available to play on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
