Ted Lasso is back, and Apple TV Plus' hit series wants everyone to “Believe” in a new season 3 teaser that foreshadows the show’s return next month, with the English Premier League's most likable manager in as good spirits as always.

Last month, Apple TV Plus announced Ted Lasso season 3 would premiere by spring, though Ted Lasso fans are still waiting to see if this will be the show’s final chapter as was planned by Jason Sudeikis and the rest of its creators. However, AFC Richmond's promotion to the Premiership will feature some changes, mainly that of the series moving from its Friday time slot to the middle of the week.

In that sense, Apple's press release confirmed that Ted Lasso is the streaming service’s first-midweek launch, with the season 3 premiere scheduled for Wednesday, March 15. Afterward, all new weekly episodes will stick with that day, despite no final episode count being available. The news of Ted Lasso's return was accompanied by the fictional club dropping a wholesome video where Richmond's players and staff make their own “Believe” signs, each infused with their own personalities, all to the tune of Frank Turner's “I Still Believe” in the background.

As seen from the Ted Lasso season 3 trailer and the final “if seeing is believing, I believe we’ve been seen” line, Ted Lasso's way with words remains intact to rally his players towards a battle for staying in FIFA as well as the world’s most popular soccer league. Besides Sudeikis, all of the show’s leading stars show up here, including Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, Juno Temple, and Jeremy Swift. Also included are Richmond and FIFA Ultimate players Jamie Tartt, Dani Rojas, Sam Obisanya, and Isacc McAdoo.

After season 1’s relegation heartbreak, Ted Lasso's Richmond climbed back up to the Premier League in his second season in charge of the club, with the fictional team’s return to the top flight coinciding with a new licensing deal with the English Premier League. The contract grants Ted Lasso's showrunners the right to use league footage, team logos kits, and even the coveted English league trophy. However, it also means the show could deliver some spectacular cameos from elite Premier League players and teams that will please fans of the sport.

Richmond's Premier League run will see the team face off against Nate's West Ham after he and Ted bitterly parted ways in season 2. Meanwhile, subplots like Sam and Rebecca or Roy and Keeley's relationships loom in the background

Ted Lasso season 3 will premiere exclusively on Apple TV Plus on March 15, 2023.
