The highly anticipated sandbox game, Teardown, is now finally available on consoles. Players can look forward to carnage, destruction, and havoc in this explosive title. In addition to the tools and weapons of mass destruction at the players’ disposal, Teardown features over three dozen unique vehicles of different classes and utilities.

The following list gives an overview of the best vehicles in terms of the functions they fulfill, disregarding any mods or player-created vehicles. Whether it’s about covering large distances, carrying heavy loads or just smashing into buildings, there’s a vehicle for everything in this game.

Many open-world games try to give players as much freedom as possible in doing whatever they want, which includes destroying everything in sight.

5 Crownzygot XVC

Highest Top Speed In The Game

Crownzygot XVC in Teardown

Crownzygot XVC and Euros IV XXF are the fastest cars in Teardown, both reaching top speeds of 75 mph. This makes both of these cars excellent modes of transport for land traversal, especially on expansive maps like Villa Gordon. Though Crownzygot XVC can only be found on Villa Gordon, Euros IV XXF is a bit more common to discover on different maps. However, the Crownzygot XVC still edges out its competition thanks to a few factors.

Crownzygot XVC has the advantage of being a very responsive car, which is great for handling and turning without much threat of sliding and drifting out of control. Players can choose this vehicle for maximum traction during timed challenges or custom-created races, because the Crownzygot XVC will never let them down.

4 Speedboat

Fastest Nautical Vehicle

Almost all the maps, except Villa Gordon and Evertides Mall, have a body of water, and that comes the need for nautical vehicles. For traversal over water in the shortest amount of time, the Speedboat is the way to go. At a top speed of 43 mph, sea travel is a breeze, although it comes with some maneuverability concerns. Due to its shape and size, turning the Speedboat is a bit cumbersome, and sometimes puts the vehicle at threat of being damaged by an obstacle if the player is not careful.

A good alternative nautical means of transport is via the Race Boat, which provides much better handling and turning than the Speedboat. However, the Race Boat has a much lower top speed of 23 mph. Due to the Race Boat’s low speed and terrible durability, the Speedboat is the most well-rounded sea vehicle. It just takes a little getting used to for smoother sea journeys.

3 Monster Truck

Excellent Off-road Traversal Capability

Often in Teardown, players will come across off-road tracks and rough terrain that leave some of the civilian vehicles, including Crownzygot XVC, extremely vulnerable to bumps and dips. This is where some powerhouse off-road vehicles come in, like the Monster Truck. Running at a decent top speed of 47 mph, the Monster Truck can drive over obstacles (including vehicles), withstand the force of impact from jumps or crashes thanks to its suspension and durability, and provides excellent grip and handling.

Teardown: Is It Multiplayer?

Gamers can bulldoze their way through the open world of Teardown, which has many fans wondering if they'll be able to bring along their buddies.

The only caveat is that the vehicle is only available on maps in the Sandbox mode. For the main campaign, a close second in off-road drivable vehicles is the Taskmaster 4WD. This option boasts the same top speed as the Monster Truck, but its handling is a little less responsive. Both of these vehicles, regardless of the uneven terrain and steep slopes, stand tall above the others because of their prowess.

2 Utility Truck

Huge Load Capacity and Incredible Durability

The Utility Truck is a heavy vehicle which, understandably, is incredibly slow. However, it shines as the perfect mode of transport for a huge bulk of items. In fact, the sheer power of its crane can lift another Utility Truck as well, which is incredible given how massive the vehicle is. On maps that require the transport of huge cargo pieces, the Utility Truck can limit the repeated trips to load and unload cargo like other industrial vehicles.

Along with its size and capacity, another key strength is Utility Truck’s durability. This gives the vehicle an added ability to plow down structures and obstacles while withstanding most of the damage.

1 Tank

Brutally High Firepower and Extremely Resistant

Tank in Teardown

The Tank is one of the few military vehicles in the game, but it is a beast in every sense of the word. It’s the most durable vehicle in Teardown, as most structures and obstacles barely put a dent in this monster. This makes it very effective in two aggressive ways. Firstly, players can drive ahead at full speed to ram into structures for absolute carnage. This is especially useful given how the Tank can accelerate quickly to reach a surprisingly high top speed of 55 mph.

Secondly, the Tank’s incredible firepower will blow almost anything into smithereens thanks to its canons. Its heavy shelling and angle of projectiles make it easy to target specific sections of buildings, so it excels in accuracy in addition to its power. The only caution that players can exercise is to avoid firing cannons at close range, as the Tank is still vulnerable to fire and explosives. The Tank perfectly epitomizes the explosive nature of Teardown with its big guns.
