Players should expect to complete a fist playthrough of Tchia's main story in around 12 to 15 hours. For the uninitiated, trinkets and pearls are used in the purchasing of cosmetic items, which alter the appearance of the protagonist, the boat, and even the ukulele in Tchia. While it is certainly not requisite that fans focus on trading for these cosmetic, they can be a fun way to add a personal touch to the experience.
Aside from collectibles, there are an assortment of activities within Tchia that players can engage with in order to increase their playtime. Among those activities are taking photographs of the beautiful environment and playing songs on the ukulele, and some fans are sure to get lost in them for hours. Players can also simply return to Tchia's soul-jumping mechanic and continue enjoying their time as a bird, dolphin, dog, or other creature at their convenience.
Finally, there are a variety of optional achievements that can be used to guide players that are interested in doing more than simply finishing the main story. These achievements will have fans clearing Soldier Camps and destroying Meavora Statues, and there are more than 20 trophies to be earned. While players will undoubtedly obtain some of those trophies through standard gameplay, those that want to reach 100% completion and secure Tchia's Platinum Trophy will need to put some extra effort and time toward that goal.
