Tchia has a vast exploration system. Players sail their way across a vibrant New Caledonia inspired archipelago, encountering exciting new characters and locations. They’ll also be able to experiment with soul-jumping, a unique mechanic which allows the protagonist to temporarily take control of an object or animal.

Meavora Statues are just one of the things for players to find in Tchia. Named and modeled after the game’s tyrannical antagonist, these statues are worth seeking out and destroying. Destroying all Meavora Statues even unlocks an achievement called Iconoclast.

Destroying Meavora Statues

The Archipelago in Tchia

Players can destroy a Meavora statue by hurling a chicken egg at it. The statue will explode upon impact. It’s a good idea to bring a chicken along on the journey. Players can get an egg by soul-jumping into the animal, and the protagonist can carry one in their backpack for easy access.

Statue One: Tingeting

Tchia players can destroy their first Meavora statue near Tingeting, a harbor on Ija Nöj’s eastern shore. Head to the north-east of the harbor to find the statue. It will be atop a palette in a small concrete building.

Statue Two: Bere Pidu

The second statue is found on Bere Pidu. The island is located off the north-western shore of Ija Nöj. Head to the north side of Bere Pidu to find the statue. It will be within a ring of wooden pillars, near a food stand.

Statue Three: Pûrû Bibiu

Tchia’s third Meavora Statue is located at Pûrû Bibiu on Ija Nöj. Players can find it by climbing to the top of the mountain. They can also reach it by soul-jumping into a bird and flying.

Statue Four: Weliwele

Tchia’s fourth Meavora statue is found to the south of Weliwele. Players can find it by traveling down the river towards Kwéö. The statue will be on the shore along a bend in the river.

Statue Five: Pwärä Boo

The fifth statue is in Pwärä Boo, a small strip of land at the mouth of a river on Ija Nöj. There is a small observation area with benches and a fence. The statue will be atop a stone platform in the center of it.

Meavora Statue Locations: Madra Nöj

Things Tchia Does Differently Than Other Open-World Games

Statue Six: Aëmoon

Players can find the next Meavora statue at a park in the capital of Madra Nöj, Aëmoon. The park is near the south of the city, and the Meavora statue is at the top of a fountain. Toss a chicken egg or other explosive at it to destroy it.

Statue Seven: Hnapapa

To find the seventh Meavora statue, Tchia players should head to the south-east of Hnapapa. They should find a food stand. Stop at it and look around. The statue should be nearby.

Statue Eight: Silibom

It can be a long climb to get to this statue, which is found on a hill to the south-west of SIlibom. Just like with the Meavora statue at Pûrû Bibiu, Tchia players can fly to the top of this hill by soul-jumping into a bird.

Statue Nine: Koilo

This statue is located along the shore near Koilo. It will be inside a metal shipping container. Players should exercise caution when approaching – the statue is near a Maano Camp, so they may encounter some enemies. Use fire and explosives to destroy them.

Statue Ten: Tru Tim

Players can find their final statue on the south-most island in Tru Tim. Use Tchia’s boat to sail across to it, but be careful not to get stuck on the dead trees nearby. Players shouldn’t have any trouble once they’re on the island – the statue is in the very center of it.

Tchia is out now on PC, PS4, and PS5.
