There are six Secret Stars in Road to Elysium, the DLC of The Talos Principle 2. All of these stars appear in Chapter 2 of the DLC. You can find three of them on the Red Island, two more on the Green Island, and one on the Blue Island. Stars are among the few collectibles in The Talos Principle, each requiring the player to complete an additional task beyond the main puzzles.
Like the main game, the DLC has three types of Secret Star Puzzles: Prometheus, Pandora, and Sphinx. Prometheus Secret Stars require you to follow a Spark until it lights a statue and reveals the reward. Pandora puzzles involve solving quick puzzles using elements from other Puzzle Rooms in the area. Sphinx Monuments give you a cryptic pattern that you must apply to a switchboard to reveal the Secret Star.
This walkthrough includes complete solutions for all six Secret Stars in the DLC area of The Talos Principle 2, along with visual hints for solving them quickly.

Secret Star #1: The Pandora Monument in the Red Cluster
The first Star in the DLC area is to the right of Puzzle Room #8 on the Red Cluster Island. If you go near the edge of the cliff, you will see the Pandora Monument down by the beach, guarding one of the Secrets in Road to Elysium. Here’s how to solve the puzzle to access its Star:
- Start by revisiting Puzzle Room #7, The Misalignment Syndrome. (You must solve the puzzle in this room first before attempting to solve the Secret Star puzzle.)
- Using the Driller, create a hole in the wall of the room with a Pressure Plate inside.
- Place the other Driller on the Pressure Plate that activates the Fan.
- Throw the Connector out of the hole that you created in the second step.
- Holding the Connector in your hand, step on the Fan so you can fly higher.
- In the air, aim the Connector at the Pandora Monument near Puzzle Room 8 and link it to the other Connector near the statue.
- Connect the Connector to the Green Generator beneath you.
- Turn off the Fan by removing the Driller from the Pressure Plate.
- Put the Hexahedron over the Fan and position the Connector on the Hexahedron.
- Turn the Fan back on by placing the Driller back on the Pressure Plate.
- Go to the Puzzle Room #8, The Riddle of the Citadel.
- Fly on the nearby platform by jumping on the Fan and retrieve the Inverter.
- Connect the Connector to the Red Generator and place it in front of the platform.
- Connect the Inverter to the Connector and the Blue Receiver on top of the Platform.
- Jump on the lowered platform and take the Connector with you. (Remove the Connector so the platform elevates to the top.)
- When you can see the Pandora Monument, create a link from the Connector in your hand to the other Connector that you activated previously and then, finally, the Green Receiver on the statue itself. This will solve the Secret puzzle and reward you with the first Star.
When moving a Connector, select it using the right-click so it retains its connections. (Left-click picks up the object and removes all its links.)
Secret Star #2: The Prometheus Monument in the Red Cluster
To start the second Secret puzzle on the Red Island, find the Spark near Puzzle Room #5. Look for a glowing blue sparkle on the rocks near the cliff. Once you find it, grab it to start the path. The activated Spark will lead you to the Prometheus Monument and reveal another Secret Star.
Secret Star #3: The Sphinx Monument in the Red Cluster
The third Star is under the Sphinx Monument near Puzzle Room #1 on the Red Island. You will see a tablet on the monument with a series of codes. Memorize the pattern of these dots and go into Puzzle Room #5, The Perpendicular Procedure.
- In the Perpendicular Procedure room, walk on the Magnetic Wall in front of the entrance and go all the way up until you reach a secret area with some buttons on the wall.
- Press the buttons in the following order:
- Leftmost button in the third row
- First button in the first row (top)
- Second button in the second row (right)
- First button in the fourth row (top)
- First button in the fifth row (left)
- Finally, check the cavity under the Sphinx Statue to get another Secret Star.
Secret Star #4: The Prometheus Monument in the Blue Cluster
The Prometheus Monument on the Blue Island is located just behind Puzzle Room #1. But to initiate the puzzle, you must first search the area behind the Golden Puzzles’ building. You will want to look for a Spark, a bluish floating sprite that’s sitting on the beach.
- Once you touch the Spark, start following it.
- At some point, the Spark will get stuck in Puzzle Room #8, The High Road.
- When this happens, grab onto Gravshifter and aim it at the rightmost corner of the ceiling where you can see a Pressure Plate.
- Grab the other Gravshifter and use it to create a magnetic field on the opposite corner of the ceiling.
- Get under this magnetic field that you created on the left, so that you are elevated to the ceiling and can touch the Spark again.
- Finally, follow the Spark until it reaches the Prometheus Monument and gives you another Secret Star.
Secret Star #5: The Sphinx Monument in the Green Cluster
Go to the Sphinx Monument, to the right of Puzzle Room #3 on the Green Island. Memorize the filled and outlined circle pattern there, and move to the other side of the island. Search the area behind the Gold Puzzles building. Look for a small island slightly away from the mainland, which has stones poking out of the water in the same pattern as the Sphinx Monument’s tablet. To solve the puzzle, imagine the stones forming a clock and lift them in the following order:
- 10 o’clock
- 11 o’clock
- 1 o’clock
- 5 o’clock
- Also, the one right under 11 o’clock.
Finally, get back to the statue to retrieve your next Secret Star.
Secret Star #6: The Pandora Monument in the Green Cluster
The other Secret Star on the Green Island is near the Lost Puzzle Room. But you need to start solving its mystery in Puzzle Room #6, The Binary Paradox.
- In The Binary Paradox Room, grab a Connector and link it to the Pandora Monument’s Green Receiver. (If you aim the device from the puzzle room’s entrance, you will see the Receiver quite clearly.)
- Go to Puzzle Room #5, The Theodorian Knot.
- Jam the Fan in the leftmost corner using the Jammer.
- Place the Hexahedron over the Pressure Plate in front of the Blue Generator.
- Retrieve the Connector, link it to the Blue Generator, and place it on top of the Hexahedron.
- Grab the RGB Converter and connect it from the Connector above the Hexahedron to the Red Generator in the back and the Connector outside the puzzle room near the Pandora Monument. To do this, you must aim through the gap in the wall.
- Once the connections are established, you will be able to retrieve the final Secret Star from the Pandora Monument.
