Mahag Saar is the fourth realm that players visit in Tales of Arise and is considerably shorter than those which preceded it. Very few main story events take place in the region, and there aren't all that many side activities or sub-quests either. In total, there are just eight of the latter, and four of these can't actually be tackled until much later on in the main story.
All that said, there are some pretty decent rewards up for grabs in Mahag Saar, including several useful cooking recipes and artifacts and a new title for Shionne. Granted, it's not as profitable as some of the other realms in Tales of Arise, but one of the quests does provide a key crafting component for Alphen's best weapon, so it is definitely worth checking out.
Updated November 6, 2021 by Tom Bowen: The Mahag Saar region doesn't have too many side-quests, though some of the ones that do take place there can be incredibly challenging. Players will need to reach a fairly high level if they're to have any hope of completing all of them and will also have to use their brains a little to figure out a rather obscure riddle. This guide will help to speed up the process, however, providing information on how to complete every sub-quest in Mahag Saar as well as the rewards that are available for doing so.

How to Complete Kisara's Initiation | Give the woman some peppers (x4), beef (x2), potatoes (x4), and Salmon (x2). As for beef and Salmon, they can harvest some of the former at the ranch and get hold of a few Salmon through the fishing mini-game. |

Skybound Swarm

Farewell, Mage

How to Complete Farewell, Mage | Head to the Tower of the Wind Spirit on Mount Dhiara and climb the stairs to the very top. After dealing with the regular enemies and the Sylph Zloa, defeat the Procella Sylph mini-boss (level 70). All of the enemies here are weak to earth attacks, so players should set the party up with this in mind. |
