With scrap-infused moves that make the class hit even harder from range, the Metal Technomancer in Superfuse will appeal to gamers that want to take out enemies in big chunks at a distance. Especially with a friend to absorb the damage, the Metal Technomancer is a grand time.

This presumes that players have the appropriate talents to maximize the Metal Technomancer's potential, of course. Superfuse gives players numerous choices but they can't have every talent with the limited pool. Using only the best talents ensures that players have the best passives and skills ready to go.

This article was written during the Early Access period. Updates and patches may have altered the overall experience.

10 Nano-Tek

  • Nanobots increase your stamina and aid your recovery.

The Metal Technomancer doesn't have much to worry about when it comes to damage, the real issue is survivability. Unless gamers have a dedicated tank, the Metal Technomancer will be expected to whether a few blows while trying to cast their skills. Thankfully, Nano-Tek is an early passive that allows the hero to absorb more hits and recover health quickly.

9 Quicksilver

Superfuse Metal Technomancer Quicksilver Talent
  • Gain extra cast speed for each piece of metal scrap in proximity.

To be clear, the 3% extra cast speed this talent provides at its maximum level is quite short. While saving a single frame while casting a move may seem like a waste of a talent, it isn't. When casting a skill, melee enemies just barely hit the character before they can walk away. With this talent at 3%, now melee enemy attacks fail to land in time. Letting the Metal Technomancer cast and back up safely.

8 Critical Strike Chance

Superfuse Metal Technomancer Critical Strike Chance Talent
  • Increase the critical strike chance with attacks.

Players who forgot to invest in Critical Strike Chance may want to consider getting a respec. An extra 10% critical strike chance may sound like a small amount, but the Metal Technomancer will usually have two damage sources going at once, so this class benefits from this talent more than most.

7 Critical Strike Damage

  • Increase the damage dealt with critical strikes.

Most of the time, players will need to get new fuses if they want to increase their critical strike damage. Increasing it by 50% is a distant dream for most specializations, but Metal Technomancers get that for just five talent points. Suddenly, fights turn into single-move affairs as one critical hit can wipe out an entire wave of enemy units.

6 Trauma

Superfuse Metal Technomancer Trauma Talent
  • Attacks gain a chance to apply trauma, enemies affected have reduced movement speed and take additional damage.

Although a 22.5% chance might seem like a low probability, consider how often skills like Scrap Ball tick and how many times players cast Metal Shard. This becomes guaranteed to go off against elites and bosses, slowing them down to the point where they can't reach the Technomancer with any of their abilities. Level up quickly to get this mid-game passive skill.

5 Solidify

Superfuse Metal Technomancer Solidify Talent
  • Casts create denser material properties, increasing the damage of metal skills.

With five talent points in it, Solidify adds an additional 25% to the Metal Technomancer's spell damage. With the right fuses on the right skills, there is never a reason to start dealing physical damage, so this is essentially a straight-up 25% increase to all damage.

4 Metal Shard

Superfuse Metal Technomancer Metal Shard Talent
  • Fire a metal shard at a target location, leaving behind a metal scrap.

What makes a specialization good or bad can have a lot to do with their early skills. Ultimately, players will have to pass up on all of their massive moves to even get access to their final abilities. The best classes have accessible skills they can build on right away. Thankfully, Metal Shard is exactly that, a skill at level one that holds up until the end of the game.

3 Spare Parts

Superfuse Metal Technomancer Spare Parts Talent
  • Create an additional shard near the Technomancer whenever Metal Shard is used. The additional shard only takes On End Fuses.

Over the course of a campaign, players won't be surprised to learn that the secret to the Metal Technomancer is metal. The more scraps, shards, and metal all over the field, the more powerful the class gets. So when a passive move like Spare Parts comes along that makes Metal Shard grant twice the shards, this is core to what the class is about.

2 Scrap Ball

Superfuse Metal Technomancer Scrap Ball Talent
  • Conjure a swirling ball of scrap, damaging enemies in its path and drawing in nearby metal from other skills, causing it to grow in radius.

Scrap Ball creates a persistent tornado of damage that absolutely demolishes groups of enemies. When players acquire this new skill, the game becomes far easier than it was before. The Scrap Ball also gains power from nearby scraps, giving it a virtually uncapped damage threshold for gamers that set it up correctly.

1 Scrapper

Superfuse Metal Technomancer Scrapper Talent
  • Gain a better understanding of salvaging good loot.

Getting better gear is going to represent a lopsided portion of the game's duration. Most players online at the endgame are on strict gear-improving rotations. So when the Metal Technomancer has a passive ability that gives them an additional 50% chance to get better gear, it's a ludicrous advantage that other classes will envy.

Superfuse is available in Early Access for PC.
