Secret exits have always played an important role in 2D Mario games and this is once again the case in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. There are seven of them in total, encouraging players to explore every inch of every course rather than just racing their way to the finish line as they might in other 2D platformers.

Finding all seven Super Mario Bros. Wonder secret exits can be a little tricky, particularly without the help of a good guide. Thankfully for players, information on every secret exit can be found listed below, making it much easier to get green checkmarks and unlock the courses and areas that these secret exits lead to.

How to Find the Piranha Plants on Parade Secret Exit in Mario Wonder (World 1)

In order to find the secret exit in Piranha Plants on Parade, players will need to make their way through the Wonder Flower section. Immediately after collecting the Wonder Seed, they'll find themselves walking over a row of music blocks, at which point they should turn back around.

By dashing to the left and launching themselves off one of the last few music blocks, players will be able to get on top of the nearby green pipe. From here, it's a simple matter of walking to the left, heading down the red pipe, and then following the foreground to the right and another green pipe. Heading down this one will bring them out by another flagpole and the Piranha Plants on Parade secret exit.

How to Find the Bulrush Coming Through! Secret Exit in Mario Wonder (World 1)

To get to the Bulrush Coming Through! secret exit, players will need to keep their eyes open for four brown blocks with something glowing behind them. If they head right shortly after finding these blocks, they'll be able to lure a nearby Bullrush back to the left so that it destroys the blocks and releases the Wonder Flower behind them.

After collecting the Wonder Flower, players simply need to ride the stampeding Bullrush to the right until they find themselves up in the clouds. They'll want to collect the Wonder Seed here before doing anything else, then continue to the right until they come to a giant flag pole and the secret exit for Bulrush Coming Through!

How to Find the Bulrush Express Secret Exit in Mario Wonder (World 1)

Those hoping to reach the Bulrush Express secret exit should proceed through the course as usual, which means riding some stampeding Bulrush to avoid certain death. However, after completing the stampede section and collecting the Wonder Seed, players should refrain from going through the red pipe.

Instead, they'll want to use the Elephant power-up to break through the brown blocks to their right, which will grant access to a previously hidden yellow pipe. After passing through it, they'll need to drop done onto the lone Bulrush beneath them and then ride it to the nearby flagpole and the secret exit for Bulrush Express.

How to Find the Outmaway Valley Secret Exit in Mario Wonder (World 2)

Around halfway through Outmaway Valley, players will come to two yellow pipes sticking out of the ground at an angle. Immediately after these two pipes is a large block of ice, which players will need to melt or break in order to reveal a sparkling spot on the ground beneath it. Ground pounding this spot will summon a Wonder Flower.

After grabbing the Wonder Flower, players will need to ride the giant snowball that shows up until they come to the Wonder Seed, and, shortly after it, the Outmaway Valley secret exit. To get to the top of the flagpole, players should climb onto the ice blocks and then do a running jump to their right.

How to Find the Secrets of Shova Mansion Secret Exit in Mario Wonder (World 4)

Toward the end of Secrets of Shova Mansion, players will need to push two pink blocks together to form a door. After passing through it, they'll see six breakable blocks on the ground just in front of them. They'll want to break these and then push the green block into the newly created gap, which will cause a golden pipe to come out of the ground to the left.

Heading into this pipe will transport players to the stage's foreground, where they'll simply need to run to the right until they come to another golden pipe. When they emerge from this pipe, they'll find themselves at the Secrets of Shova Mansion secret exit. To reach the top of the flagpole, they'll need to jump off of the two blue blocks.

How to Find the Where the Rrrumbas Rule Secret Exit in Mario Wonder (World 6)

In order to reach the Where the Rrrumbas Rule secret exit, players will need the drill power-up, which means playing as Yoshi or Nabbit is not an option. The good news is that getting to the checkpoint is actually pretty easy if players know where to look; that being the area just before the checkpoint with the huge yellow beam that players need to push over.

Rather than dropping down the hole that the beam creates though, they'll want to drill into the roof and then travel to the right. They can then head into the pipe to reach the Where the Rrrumbas Rule secret exit. To get on top of the flagpole, players should wall jump off the yellow beam and then leap from the raised platform.

How to Find the Hot-Hot-Hot Secret Exit in Mario Wonder (World 6)

In order to reach the Hot-Hot-Hot secret exit, players should make their way to the course's checkpoint. From there, they'll need to use the burning blocks to climb up to some clouds with a pink flower on them. The Grappling Vine badge can help a lot here as it's able to grapple onto the pots near the flower.

Once they've reached the clouds, players should touch the flower and then follow it back to the left. Eventually, it will create a doorway, which will lead players to a dark foreground area that needs to be navigated. Upon doing so, players will come to the Hot-Hot-Hot secret exit, where they can use the burning blocks to jump to the top of the flagpole.
