MAR10 Day is here once again, bringing together Nintendo fans across the world in a celebration of the most iconic video game character of all time, Super Mario. Various companies are celebrating MAR10 Day by offering players a chance to experience in-store events or special discounts on Mario-themed games and movies. There is no better place to be than New York City on MAR10 Day, as businesses and organizations host gaming events across the five boroughs. This year, in addition to its biggest digital celebration of MAR10 Day ever, Nintendo is giving NY gamers a chance to celebrate with the man himself.

Gamers have been publicly celebrating March 10 as MAR10 Day for at least the last decade. However, things became official in 2016, when Nintendo officially embraced the holiday, offering the first of their annual MAR10 Day sales on Super Mario-themed games. Prior to the COVID pandemic, NY-based fans could attend special craft and gaming events at Nintendo NY, the company's two-floor specialty retail space located near 30 Rockefeller Center. Nintendo NY was Nintendo's first retail headquarters worldwide and has become a hub for all things Nintendo, with the company itself hosting live events for Nintendo Directs and special announcements. After 3 years of restricted MAR10 Day events, Nintendo is going all out this year, offering its biggest digital and in-person celebration yet.
