16-Player Co-Op Added to Super Mario 64 Mod

Nintendo did not add co-op capabilities to the original release of Super Mario 64, which likely disappointed many fans, considering that some previous installments in the Super Mario franchise, including Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros. 3, did. The feature has also been added to a plethora of other Nintendo games that support local and online co-op. Some games allow for four-player online co-op, so giving 16 players the chance to play cooperatively with this Super Mario 64 mod is wildly chaotic in a potentially fun way. In addition, players can customize the game to their preferences, including changes in vertex and light color, fog color, and fog intensity. Coop Deluxe Team's announcement will surely be exciting for fans monitoring the mod's progress.

Super Mario 64 Co-Op Deluxe gives fans of the original game a chance to experience the Nintendo 64 classic with all new features. While some gamers might agree that this mod is the best version of the game, modders continue to surprise fans with content, like the addition of Elephant Form Mario in Super Mario 64. For now, fans of this Super Mario 64 mod can enjoy this update while waiting for the next one.
