Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Review

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League continues Rocksteady's trend of great combat and storytelling, but it's not without controversial decisions.

Some of the strongest characters in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League hold some incredible feats, whether it’s speed, wits, or a real talent for killing (and maybe eating people). Unbound by a no-kill rule, some of these beloved heroes have become twisted and feared monsters of true power.

Heavy spoilers ahead for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League!

7 King Shark

The Strength Of A Demigod

The son of Chondrakha the Shark God, Nanaue takes his complex relationship with his father to the surface world, leaving behind Atlantis and its many wonders to engross within human culture. Sadly, King Shark seems all too happy to eat people, which leads him right into Amanda Waller’s trap, and as such, he is forced into becoming a member of Task Force X, perhaps at the displeasure of his father, Kamo.

King Shark exhibits some amazing strength in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, especially thanks to his powers as a demigod. He can leap tall buildings, and punch things to death with utter savagery. He’s seen shrugging off rubble from collapsing buildings like It's nothing and wielding giant heavy weapons to showcase his brute strength.

6 Batman

The Demon Bat Is A Master Of Combat & Tactics

Whilst Batman may not have the powers of a demigod or a Kryptonian, what he does have, is an amazing intellect, and sheer will that allows him to master any combat situation and even the odds to an absurd degree. Anyone who has played the Batman: Arkham games knows just how much of a powerhouse Batman truly is, and he doesn’t shy away from those strengths in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

Players come into contact with a Brainiac-controlled Batman almost immediately, and it’s terrifying to be hunted by Batman, like prey to a predator. Batman leaves countless civilian bodies around Metropolis and stalks Task Force X, showcasing that although he cannot break a building in a single punch, he has the tools and the brains to demolish it instead.

5 Green Lantern

No Metahuman Shall Escape His Sight

No willpower is greater than that of a Green Lantern, and John Stewart proves that no evil shall escape his sight. That is until Brainiac gets hold of him. Green Lantern is the first of Brainiac’s Justice League that players will meet, and he uses his ring like no other, immediately trapping Task Force X to show them what he’s been doing for the past 3 weeks.

This guide is for the players who want to claim victory with the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Platinum Trophy.

Green Lantern has the power of Oa’s guardians and willpower embedded into his ring, giving him incredible powers. However, his strength ends with his will and his imagination, so anyone with a Sinestro Corps yellow ring will be able to take him out. Plus, the tampering Brainiac did to Green Lantern’s ring certainly doesn’t help him in the long run.

4 The Flash

The Fastest Man Alive Hits Hard

The Fastest Man Alive, Barry Allen exhibits some extreme speeds, even before under the control of Brainiac. Sadly, he has been fighting an evil Justice League for weeks in Metropolis, and it seems that all of that energy takes its toll on poor Barry, and leaves him weak, even if he can hit someone at a million miles an hour.

The Flash is incredibly dangerous and unhinged when it comes to being controlled by Brainiac. He rips out the heart of Lex Luthor before everyone can even blink. His ability to summon lightning storms and Speed Force tornados leave devastation in a rageful path.

3 Brainiac

12th-Level Intellect, Multiversal Conqueror

Brainiac arrived in Metropolis in his skull ship with one goal in mind: to create a New Colu. Brainiac exhibits his strength through his 12th-level intellect, where he shows off just how smart he is compared to humans and other lesser life forms. Brainiac has invaded Metropolis with an army of his forces, to which he uses his intellect to experiment on and infuse with Justice League powers, creating some truly unique and diabolical monsters that will aid in his conquering of Earth, and perhaps the Multiverse itself.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League – Endgame, Explained

The party isn't over when the credits roll and the Suicide Squad still has a lot of work to do.

If the Justice League could not stop Brainiac, then where do his powers end? He is known to splice DNA and alter things from people to make them better in his own image. Yet, Brainiac doesn’t seem to use brawn, and although his intelligence is grand, he relies on powers from other heroes to give him strength.

2 Wonder Woman

Uncorrupted & On A Quest To Save The Justice League

wonder woman with sword and shield

A warrior of peace and the princess of Themyscira, Wonder Woman is like no other. She’s the only member of the Justice League uncorrupted by Brainiac, and she will do anything in her power to bring back her friends without further bloodshed. Wonder Woman is brilliant, and her story in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League deserves its own game. Armed with her lasso and a shield, Wonder Woman will not kill her friends.

Wonder Woman encounters a few members of the Justice League and even argues with a Brainiac-controlled Batman. She is uncorrupted, and ever determined to win back her friends. Sadly, a fight with Superman showed who the strongest was, and despite centuries of combat training, she could be no match to the raw Kryptonian powers of the Man of Steel.

1 Superman

The Man Of Steel Does Not Hold Back

When Superman was captured by Brainiac, Project K commenced. This was a top-secret project by Brainiac to enhance Superman and to turn him into the perfect soldier to lead his armies. Whilst Superman may have lacked the tactical mind of Batman, he could make up for it with his raw powers, abused by Brainiac to become the ultimate tool of world domination.

Superman was released into the world too early, thanks to the nuclear bomb that threatened the skull ship. As such, Superman was weaker than intended, and his weakness to Kryptonite was not total. Despite being stabbed, he managed to return to Brainiac’s ship to recover. Superman holds strength like no other, and his fight with Wonder Woman can be seen across Metropolis, with discarded submarines and other vehicles scattered in a dangerous war.
