Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is the latest release from legendary Batman game developer Rocksteady and lets players explore the world of Metropolis as a variety of iconic DC villains. Players can use multiple characters in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, ranging from Harley Quinn to Deadshot. Players are given the keys to a massive, open-world version of Metropolis in a colorful and action-packed adventure. However, Rocksteady's latest title has been marred with controversy, mostly due to the game's monetization practices as well as the game being designed as a live service experience. Recent updates have made up for the game's lackluster launch, with a new Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League update addressing several game issues.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League left many Arkhamverse threads untethered and an interaction between two heavyweights is sorely missed.

Rocksteady has released the patch notes for its latest Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League update, revealing players can also snag a few free items if they act quickly enough. These items allow players to celebrate pride, coming equipped with a selection of color swatches and banners to ring in the monthly celebration. This isn't the first time Rocksteady has given players free items, offering free DLC for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League earlier this year.

In addition, a wide variety of glitches and bugs have been fixed, something that has affected Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League since its launch. Server connection errors have been fixed, including a bug that caused players to disconnect from games after breaking down gear on the mission rewards screen. A bug that caused Deadshot's "Eggshot" skin to make the character invisible has also been fixed, as has a glitch that allowed players to enable more in-game contracts than intended.

For years, the Arkham series had remained a single-player-focused saga with very minimal microtransactions. However, this all changed with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, with the game featuring a fully-fledged battle pass. Rocksteady's take on the world of DC Comics began in 2009 with Batman: Arkham Asylum, a game that is considered to be one of the greatest superhero games of all time. This incredible title was followed up just two years later in 2011 with Batman: Arkham City, which propelled Rocksteady's Arkham series to new heights, granting players the freedom to explore a massive open world. This was followed by 2013's Batman: Arkham Origins, a game that was developed by Splash Damage Games. This series of games concluded in 2015 with Rocksteady returning for Batman: Arkham Knight, though the Arkham franchise has had multiple spinoffs over the years, like Batman: Arkham VR.
