Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League may have provided a hint for its roster in its planned season schedule. While the trailers have shown off the quartet of protagonists that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has to offer, there's good reason to suspect more characters later in the game's existence. After all, the developers' plans for adding future content have already been made public knowledge, so the door is open for all kinds of new content, including new characters. By the time all is said and done, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's roster could grow respectably.

Even though Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's antagonists have been showcased heavily, and rightfully so, they aren't the stars of the story. The unfortunate villain team of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark have found themselves saddled with the unenviable task of fighting the Justice League. While not an impossible task, they would be significantly outgunned even if Brainiac didn't have hordes of other minions to send after them throughout their mission. This gives Kill the Justice League a setup that could lead to one of DC's wildest games to date, especially if the premise is used to its full potential.

Kill the Justice League's Seasons Will Bring New Content

Months ago, it was revealed that Kill the Justice League will feature battle passes as a part of its post-launch plans. In the vein of other games with this feature, this could let players unlock extra content such as new color palettes, weapon skins, and even entirely new costumes for characters. After all, several classic costumes have already been announced, so it would be a shock if there weren't more to come in the future. These seasons may have more to offer than just their battle passes, though, as it would make sense if each one also coincided with a new character being added to the roster.

Seasons Could Coincide With New Squad Members

Four currently planned seasons could imply that four characters are set to join Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's cast. Since the game already has four characters to start with, this sounds like a nice, even number to work with. Of course, if the developers decided to add more seasons later, that would mean that Rocksteady could bring even more squad members with them. For the time being, though, keeping one character a season would limit the new additions to four. On its own, that would be fine, since it would add plenty of new content without making the base game feel underwhelming.

Partnering New Characters With Battle Passes Could Prove Lucrative

One character per season could have an additional benefit for the battle passes in question. A part of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's DLC plans could see each new character being the focus of that season's respective battle pass. This would provide further incentive for players to get each new character, since they will be able to unlock more cosmetics and such for them right away. Plus, it would help each season to have a theme corresponding to the new character. Considering that adding an entirely new cast member would be a major change, it would make sense to treat the occasion like a celebration.

Four currently planned seasons could imply that four characters are set to join Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League 's cast.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's seasons could turn out to mean more than just a new battle pass coming along. All rumors about Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League aside, no official confirmation about how much the playable cast will expand has been made yet. There could only be a couple of post-release characters planned, or a whole group of them. Still, it could be a wise move for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League to plan its seasons around its character release schedule.
