A leaked image from Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has revealed a set of exciting classic comic book skins, which may be part of the game's pre-order or special edition DLC. On Friday, Warner Bros. debuted an in-depth look at Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's gameplay for the first time. As part of that, live service-style content support for the game was confirmed, including a battle pass and cosmetic DLC. For fans curious what cosmetics in Suicide Squad might look like, this is an early look.Warner Bros. and Rocksteady did offer a glimpse at how cosmetics in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will work as part of Friday's demo. Skins for the game's playable characters were briefly shown, like a Wonder Woman skin for Harley and a Superman skin for King Shark. These skins were presumably unlockable through gameplay, as Suicide Squad's storefront and battle pass were never actually shown. The concept is the same, though. Players can swap what their characters wear.RELATED: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Confirms Controversial Gear SystemThe leaked image, sourced from Twitter user ElianTmz, shows the current Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League team in four previously unseen costumes. They're not just any costumes, either. They're classic comic book costumes showcasing each of the Suicide Squad members' first appearances. These aren't their costumes from their first appearances in Suicide Squad, but their first appearances overall.

Standing out from the group is Harley Quinn's iconic Batman: The Animated Series harlequin outfit, which she's since left behind after permanently breaking up with the Joker. The other three costumes, for King Shark, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerang, will likely only be familiar to fans of comic books from the 80s and 90s. Both Deadshot and Captain Boomerang did notably wear these costumes in the first run of Suicide Squad, though.

There's some speculation regarding what these Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League cosmetics are for. Some claim that they'll be a DLC pack given to those that pre-order Suicide Squad. Others think it's DLC that will be included with deluxe editions of the game. It's more than possible they'll just be premium DLC, too. Official word has not been provided on the matter.

What the four skins do is provide an idea of what Rocksteady plans to create for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Cosmetics that have been shown so far show Rocksteady is already having fun with the Suicide Squad source material, and is not afraid of delving into the deepest parts of the niche. If Suicide Squad is going to be a live service game, then Rocksteady will hopefully have a lot of fun with the skins.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League releases May 26 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
