Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League brings players back into the Batman: Arkham series with this follow-up, 9 years in the making by Rocksteady Studios. Yet, for a game that almost took a decade to get into the hands of players, it’s surprisingly short, with more of a focus on endgame content than the story itself. Whilst Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League offers a lot of excitement in terms of gameplay and story, some players might have mixed feelings about the length of the game.

This guide is for the players who want to claim victory with the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Platinum Trophy.

Full-priced games are often judged by their length, almost as much as their quality. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League features plenty of things for players to do, both in and out of the main story. After all, their objective to take down Superman, Batman, the Flash, and Green Lantern isn’t going to be an easy one for a gaggle of creeps, crooks, and criminals, so here’s how long it takes to beat Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

Average Time To Beat Suicide Squad’s Story Mode

It will take players an average of 9-12 hours to complete all of the story content in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The main story includes cutscenes and missions that flow one after the other, including an array of dangerous boss fights against Justice League members. Whilst this may seem short, this is only for players who want to run through the campaign as fast as they can without regard for exploring Metropolis’ offerings, Riddler content, enjoying the Squad banter, and completing side activities. In the initial launch of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, there are 7 chapters in total, taking an average of 9 to 12 hours if players solely focus on the campaign, and on easier difficulties.

Completionist – How Long To 100% Suicide Squad

The fun doesn’t stop once the credits roll, and since Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a live-service game, players can expect plenty of content to drop from this looter/shooter. Whilst completing the main missions and the side activities will take around 20 hours in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, players can expect a completionist run of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League to take anywhere between 30-50 hours, based on how difficult they find some endgame content like Incursions, which requires additional grinding and farming for loot needed for all trophies. Some trophies require the maximum level in each squad character, meaning a bout of grinding. Some players might also take a little longer if they are in a squad with friends due to the different pacing of each player, or shorter, based on the easier coordination.

Even after the 100% trophy has been unlocked, players can expect even more content from Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, as starting from March 2024, players will receive new content in the form of:

  • Playable environment
  • Playable character (Season 1 features The Joker)
  • Boss fights
  • Enemy variants
  • DC villain-themed weapons
  • DC villain-themed gear
  • Riddler content
  • Activities
  • Strongholds
  • 2 episodes

This level of content will resume in the future, showing Rocksteady’s commitment to the live-service model they have in place. So, despite the average length of completion for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, some players might be back before long to rack up even more hours thanks to new content.
