Rumored DLC leaks for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League have been floating around, and one name shockingly hasn't been brought up at all. While the rumors are still in a grey area, simply because Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has not even been released yet, they offer an interesting topic of discussion. Of course, there are a lot of characters who would be well-suited for the game due to their comic affiliation with Task Force X.

The officially confirmed playable characters in Suicide Squad: KTJL thus far are the four that were announced and revealed in the game's trailer, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark. This group feels like four of the best possible choices for a Suicide Squad game. After all, Harley has always been popular, and Deadshot and Boomerang are two of the characters most associated with the team. While King Shark is less high-profile, his role in The Suicide Squad film launched a new wave of popularity for the character. This quartet is a solid team for the game to ship with at launch, but many rumors are pointing to more coming later on.

Peacemaker is the Biggest Name Missing from Kill the Justice League and Its DLC Discussion

John Cena Peacemaker The Suicide Squad

In recent days, discussion regarding leaked DLC for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has brought a few prominent names to the forefront. Killer Croc and Deathstroke are allegedly planned to be released as DLC for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and once again, both make sense, being prominent villains with ties to the squad. The fact that they each bear a resemblance in terms of role or design to King Shark and Deadshot respectively is also worth considering. Both characters are undeniably solid DLC choices. However, there's one big name that should be in the conversation alongside them when it comes to the squad.

Deathstroke has had a particularly interesting year, as in addition to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League , he is also the subject of rumors claiming that he will be a future DLC fighter in Mortal Kombat 1 .

By a wide margin, one of the best options available for post-launch characters in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is Peacemaker. Although not a big player in the DC Universe until The Suicide Squad film, his stock skyrocketed after his self-titled series came out. Outside the Justice League, he's one of the most prominent DC characters at the moment. Considering that Peacemaker's rise started with The Suicide Squad, it seems strange that he seemingly isn't in the picture for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League at all. His missing out on the game would be a serious missed opportunity on the part of the developers.

Peacemaker's absence from even rumors surrounding Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is particularly egregious considering Peacemaker's appearance in Mortal Kombat 1 as DLC. The fact that he's making a guest appearance in one of the biggest fighting game franchises on the planet is proof enough of his popularity. He should be an obvious choice to join Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League for that reason alone, even though he's not even a villain anymore after Peacemaker's first season. Nonetheless, Peacemaker has became an iconic part of Task Force X, especially in recent years, so he is more than deserving of a future DLC slot in the game.

Peacemaker isn't completely out of luck to join the game yet. There's still a chance for him to factor into Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's future DLC plans, after all. Even so, it's a shock that his name has been absent from the current DLC discussions to date. Peacemaker's rise has been well-documented, and one would expect that DC would capitalize on it in one of the company's own video games. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League could be making a big mistake if Peacemaker doesn't show up as DLC.
