There's a lot riding on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. After years of eagerly waiting to find out what Rocksteady's next project was after the groundbreaking Batman: Arkham series, fans were presented with the first announcement trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and while it definitely wasn't the project many fans were hoping for, it showed a lot of promise. But that promise soon faded upon Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's big gameplay reveal back in February of this year, with many actively hating what they were seeing, and being pretty vocal about it online.

With more of a focus on looting and shooting and seemingly less on tight combat mechanics and narrative, along with the threat of live-service integration, fans weren't happy about Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's current status. After a lengthy break, Rocksteady is back to show fans the near-finished project. While the most recent Suicide Squad trailer probably won't change the opinions of many fans, it does give them a better look at traversal, combat, and the game's overarching story. If there's one big highlight from the most recent Suicide Squad trailer, and those that have come before it, it's the performances.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's Cast List Has Some Familiar Names and Faces

Just taking one quick look at Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's cast list should already excite long-time DC video game fans, with some all-time greats reprising their roles from the previous Arkhamverse titles. Tara Strong is probably the most familiar name on this list, aside from Kevin Conroy. Taking over from Harley Quinn's original actor Arleen Sorkin, Tara Strong assumed the role of the villain in Batman: Arkham City, and has played the character in various video games and DC projects ever since.

Gaming fans will also recognize a ton of faces and voices in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, though they might not be immediately recognizable in-game. Debra Wilson, for instance, is probably best known for her role as Cere Junda in the Star Wars Jedi series, though she's appeared in a ton of games, TV shows, and movies over the years, and that even includes a prior appearance as Amanda Waller in Telltale's Batman series. Scott Porter is another actor with a prolific career; gaming fans might recognize him as the voice behind Heimdall in last year's God of War Ragnarok.

Probably one of the most well-known actors on the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League cast list is Joe Seanoa, who many will more likely recognize under his wrestling persona of Samoa Joe. This isn't the first video game-related project Joe's starred in either, with him recently appearing as the iconic clown Sweet Tooth in Peacock's Twisted Metal show. Deadshot's actor, Bumper Robinson, might not be as world-famous as Samoa Joe, but he has appeared in a ton of video games over the years, with a total of 176 acting credits currently on IMDB. And Captain Boomerang's actor, Daniel Lapaine, has appeared in a bunch of TV shows and movies over the years, including Black Mirror, Catastrophe, and Zero Dark Thirty.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Will Be Kevin Conroy's Last Batman Performance

By far the most eye-catching name on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's cast list, at least for long-time DC fans, is Kevin Conroy. Starting with the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne in 1992's Batman: The Animated Series, Kevin Conroy has become the definitive version of the Caped Crusader for many fans. His portrayal of the character in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is, unfortunately, going to be his last, with the actor having passed away last year.
