An important aspect of power in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League might go under the radar for players, as the ability to Elite weapons and gear isn’t made obvious, but it’s certainly felt in the raw strength and capabilities for completion. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League features many variations of build crafting to make a perfect character, with talents, gear, and weapons creating a synergy of death.

This guide is for the players who want to claim victory with the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Platinum Trophy.

If players want to become the ultimate Task Force X member and outshine their squad, they are going to want to know how to Elite their weapons and gear, and what exactly it does, for the capabilities have game-altering potential for endgame content, and Brainiac and the Justice League won’t stand a chance.

How To Unlock Elite Weapons & Gear

Players will need first to recruit Toyman, who will set up shop in the top right section of the Hall of Justice. This is achieved during the main story. Once Toyman is in, players will need to complete his set of Support Squad Missions. Toyman has 5 Support Squad Missions, and players will have to complete one to advance to the next, although there may be a cut-off point depending on where players are in the story, meaning continuing main missions will be necessary to proceed in the quest itself.

Once players have completed the fifth Toyman mission, players can head back to him with the Elite option now unlocked once they enter his vendor menu with Triangle/Y. Toyman has three options, but the one players are looking for is Elite, found on the far right. Using the Elite option will allow players to unlock the ability to re-roll all of an item’s augments, and select the specific augment that they want.

Players should try and acquire Elite level loot as soon as possible, due to the fact that it will allow them to re-roll their augments and maximize the potential of their chosen weapon. Players will be free to make the weapon they want without having to rely on random rolls or loot drops from missions, allowing the best synergy with weapon, gear, and squad members.

Eliting & Modifying Weapons & Gear

Once players have made a weapon or piece of gear an Elite tier item, they are free to re-roll specific augments on the item without having to worry about destroying the stats and other perks. However, to Elite a piece of gear, players are going to need the following resources:

Credits
Precious Alloys
Coluan Crystals
B-Technology
Itertron
Nth Metal

Now that the specific piece of gear has entered the Elite tier, players are free to select the Modify option in Toyman’s vendor screen to select any of the available augments. This will also require the same resources, but a little less expensive, and without the cost of Nth Metal. Most weapons and gear have a green, blue, and purple augment slot, each with its own possible rolls. If players want to see all possible augments on each piece of gear, then in the modify screen, they simply need to click R2/RT, and then they will be able to see the minimum and maximum roll chances that they can have.

Players are also free to use T.O.T.E.S. with Triangle/Y, which will allow players to not only purchase a new augment on a specific slot, but they will be able to select a specific augment of their choosing without having to re-roll until they are satisfied. However, doing this is more expensive than simply re-rolling, and it will cost players a lot of Itertron and an Nth Metal.

In the endgame, using Elite weapons and gear can really help to make a perfect build in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Players are no longer restricted to augments that give no tactical advantage, like ones that roll more credits or XP. Instead, they can select augments that complement grenade damage or the damage of the weapon itself. For instance, some weapons can provide a nearly 30% damage bonus to the gun itself, whereas others might provide players with extended shields and other varieties of endgame build potential.
