Deadpool is a confusing and wild character. Both in the films and in Marvel Comics, he has consistently shown that he is powerful, doesn’t regard life as being particularly valuable, and is surprisingly powerful. He’s gone from villainous to somewhat heroic and back and forth many times, and in his less heroic endeavors, he has managed to kill quite a lot of heroes.

From major events to random murders, Deadpool has gotten around Marvel Comics a lot over the years, and there has never been a version of the character that isn’t open to murdering a few heroes here and there along the way. Morality isn’t much of a concept to a character this nihilistic.

These are some of the best superhero games with incredible plotlines.

8 Spider-Man

Shot In The Head

Deadpool Kills Spider-Man

Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe was a crazy tale that saw a version of Deadpool from another Universe going mad and deciding to kill everybody, literally. One of the more stunning moments of the series, despite him already having taken on and killed some great heroes, was when one of his best friends Spider-Man confronted the mad Merc and tried to stop him.

Unfortunately, Spider-Man completely underestimated the level of Deadpool’s madness. While standing and chatting with Deadpool, assured that he would never actually kill him, Deadpool pulled a gun and blew Spidey’s brains out. This horrific moment was stunning and proved once and for all that Spider-Man is not bulletproof.

7 Doctor Strange

Stabbed In The Chest

Deadpool Kills Doctor Strange

Another hero who can be killed by conventional means despite his powers, the death of Doctor Strange wasn’t seen on the page within the same story. But his body was shown, with Deadpool’s sword in his chest, after what seems to have been a short and brutal fight.

The Sorcerer Supreme wasn’t able to stop the rampage that Deadpool was on either. Usually, most of the other heroes of Marvel Comics consider Deadpool a fool and a joke, and this story was the moment that this illusion came crashing down, and they were reminded of the true danger possessed by a completely immortal man.

6 The Fantastic Four

Turned Their Powers Against Them

Deadpool Kills The Fantastic Four

Not only did Deadpool kill Marvel’s First Family in Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe, but he also took them out, in a much more creative fashion, in Deadpool: The End. In this story, Deadpool gets rid of many heroes in his way as he attempts to reach and kill Death itself, all to save the inevitable demise of his daughter.

Deadpool & Wolverine: 6 Things The Trailer Tells Us About The Movie

Deadpool & Wolverine is set to change the MCU forever, and its first trailer unveils some big secrets for the story that lies ahead.

To defeat the legendary team, Deadpool turned their powers against them, making the Invisible Woman the center of attention and driving her insane, burning the Human Torch alive, turning The Thing from a rock into a liquid and completely immobilizing Mr Fantastic. These brutal and creative kills were only a part of the wildly creative savagery Deadpool showed in this journey, and is unlikely to be replicated in the MCU.

5 Professor X

Left Brain Dead By Deadpool’s Mind

Deadpool Kills Professor X

No kill was more amusing or strangely horrifying in Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe than that of Charles Xavier. The X-Men were the ones who were responsible for Deadpool’s wrath, and Xavier was made to watch as the insane Merc killed his students and friends, before Wade Wilson came to confront Xavier himself.

When he did, Deadpool knew what to expect. Professor Xavier used his telepathic powers to go into Deadpool’s mind, intending to shut his brain down to stop the rampage. Unfortunately, when he read the mad mind, Xavier discovered what Deadpool knew, that they were all just comic book characters. The information drove Xavier’s mind insane, and he went brain-dead as a result of the overwhelming knowledge. While this is unlikely to happen in the MCU, Xavier can't be ruled out of appearing in Deadpool & Wolverine.

4 Wolverine

Decapitated With Carbonadium

Deadpool Kills Wolverine

Another truly horrific moment in Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe came when Wolverine found his children, X-23 and Daken, both hooked to machines that killed them over and over each time they regenerated. This was Deadpool’s doing and led to a showdown between the two, which Deadpool won.

The exciting upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine will no doubt see conflict between these two beloved characters, but it won’t likely end the same way this battle did. Deadpool was smart enough to bring a sword made of carbonadium, a material even better than adamantium, which was able to ruin the healing factor of Wolverine, who Deadpool subsequently decapitated.

3 Thor

Crushed By His Own Hammer

Deadpool Kills Thor

Thor was a tricky one, even with the impressive skills of Deadpool, to combat. The God of Thunder wasn’t going to go down easily or with a simple sword thrust. Deadpool instead has to use the tools of the Asgardian against him, a trick made possible by Pym particles.

Deadpool is one Marvel character with many former romantic partners, but most of them don't last long, or end well.

The beloved tools of Ant-Man grow and shrink objects in size. Deadpool, seeing their potential, stole some and used them on the mighty Mjolnir, Thor’s hammer. He made the hammer grow greatly in size so that when Thor summoned the weapon back to him, he was crushed by the much larger weight it possessed.

2 The Hulk

Killed As Bruce Banner

Deadpool Kills Bruce Banner

Considered by many Marvel Comics fans to be the strongest hero in history, The Hulk also has a glaring weakness which a patient killer can use to their advantage. Also used in the past by the Punisher to get rid of the Hulk, Deadpool simply waited until the big green guy went away and turned back into Bruce Banner.

While the Hulk is documented as coming out whenever Bruce Banner is in danger, he can’t transform instantly. Therefore, Deadpool snuck up on Dr Banner and brutally cut his head off with two swords, ensuring the Hulk was out of the way.

1 Deadpool

The End Of A Wild Story

Deadpool Kills Deadpool

The Deadpool Killogy started with Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe and led to a final story arc, Deadpool Kills Deadpool. Though he might not technically be the most powerful hero in Marvel Comics, Deadpool has managed to kill all the other heroes, and with his knowledge of Marvel Comics characters being fictional, he is capable of much.

He proved as such when in the main timeline (Earth-616) Deadpool tracked down the alternate version of Deadpool, aka Dreadpool, who had killed his entire universe of heroes. Deadpool managed to kill Dreadpool, proving that he is really capable of killing any hero in Marvel Comics, even himself.
