A Street Fighter 6 player has discovered that choosing Zangief can leave players at a disadvantage. Street Fighter is one of the most iconic gaming franchises, and Street Fighter 6 has gotten a great reception from both critics and fans alike.Although it is the latest game in the franchise, Street Fighter 6 takes place after the events of Street Fighter 3. Street Fighter 6's cast is well-balanced, with some newcomers like Manon and Kimberly along with fan favorites like Chun-Li and Cammy. Players were also surprised by Dee-Jay's return to the Street Fighter franchise, with the character receiving a stylish makeover to appear in Street Fighter 6.RELATED: Street Fighter 6 Is One of the Highest-Rated Games of the YearTwitter user GelatinLab discovered a bug that causes Zangief to have the longest recovery time of all Street Fighter 6 characters. Burnout is one of Street Fighter 6's new mechanics where the fighter's stance changes to an exhausted version when the Drive meter is empty. GelatinLab explains that while all other Street Fighter 6 characters regenerate 50 Drive per frame during Burnout, Zangief regains 40 Drive per frame, making the Burnout effect last 25% longer for the Red Cyclone. When a Street Fighter 6 character is in the Burnout state, they restore the Drive Gauge over time or by successfully landing attacks. On the other hand, being in a Burnout state leaves a character severely vulnerable. Some limitations include the inability to use Drive Gauge-dependent moves, the chance of being stunned, and the vulnerability to being knocked out by chip damage.

Capcom has not yet commented on the Zangief bug. But in a highly competitive game like Street Fighter 6, players may want to avoid the grappler for a while. In the meantime, players can explore the cast of playable characters and discover the best Street Fighter 6 character for their style. For those who still want to play a bulky fighter capable of intimidating opponents, Marisa is a strong candidate. Considered one of the best Street Fighter 6 characters, Marisa can take on the hardest opponents with her armor moves and unique block stances.
