Now, it seems like Street Fighter 6 has been a huge hit for Capcom, at least on PC, as its number of concurrent users is way higher than other games in the genre.As revealed on SteamDB, Street Fighter 6 has an all-time concurrent peak player count of 70,573, as it manages to beat other known fighting games. Titles like Mortal Kombat 11 and Tekken 7 managed 35,147 and 18,966 concurrent players respectively, while Dragon Ball FighterZ had a maximum of 44,303 simultaneous users on Steam. So, Street Fighter 6’s numbers are way ahead of other titles in the genre, and they may go even higher in the coming days.
Many titles reach their peak concurrent player counts on the first weekend after their launch, but games can also break this record many years after their release. As an example, Destiny 2 broke the record for its peak concurrent player count earlier this year with the launch of the Lightfall expansion.
