A new mod for Street Fighter 6 with Ryu's Power Ranger outfit, which he donned in Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid. The mod featuring this iconic guest fighter in Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid requires the latest version of the Street Fighter 6 Mod manager to be installed.

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid caught players off-guard when Chun-Li and Ryu were added as part of the game's iconic roster of characters. To add to the surprise, it was also revealed that both fighters would also sport their own version of the super-powered ranger suits, as both fighters have access to the Morphin' Grid that the Power Rangers use to enhance their abilities.

In Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, Ryu joins the Power Rangers in an effort to stop M. Bison who is in cahoots with Rita Repulsa in a ploy to create Evil Rangers as the Crimson Hawk Ranger. The lone fighter brings with him iconic skills like the Hadoken and the Tatsumaki Senpukyaku, both of which can be enhanced by the Crimson Hawk Power Coin. Nexus Mods modder Remy2FANG couldn't leave such an awesome design behind, and thus brought the Crimson Hawk ranger to Street Fighter 6 in all of its glory. The mod takes inspiration from another modder's port of Ryu's Ranger outfit on Street Fighter V and comes complete with the Crimson Hawk Ranger's signature suit alongside a helmet and no helmet variant.

This mesh mod which allows players to easily install the content using the Street Fighter 6 mod manager. The author of the mod stated that this modded costume variant only has 2 working customizable colors, as they weren't able to add more colors due to time constraints and lack of willingness. Still, the author did say that they are reachable should players want to try out the other color variations from Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid.

The mod is almost certain to bring a smile to Battle for the Grid players who are currently dueling other fighters in Street Fighter 6. Unfortunately, the mod is only cosmetic and doesn't include enhancements to Ryu's moveset from his Battle for the Grid iteration. Should players want to step up their game, they can try a mod that makes Street Fighter 6 playable in VR. This mod lets players experience the fight from a closer perspective with a slew of tools such as Free camera, scene timescale, FOV slider, aspect ratio fixes, and a GUI disabler. For players who just want to stick with the regular gameplay, though, this Power Rangers Ryu mod is worth downloading.

Street Fighter 6 is available now on PC, PS5, PS4, and Xbox Series X/S.
