At the time of this writing, it is impossible for Street Fighter 6 players to unlock the Platinum trophy on PS5 or get all the achievements on Xbox. Street Fighter 6 first released last month to widespread critical acclaim. The game has been hailed as a return to form for the franchise and perhaps the best entry in the long-running fighting game series to date. Even so, it hasn't been completely without its problems.

While the game's online multiplayer has worked well for the most part, Street Fighter 6 has had some server issues and problems with its tournaments. If tournaments were working correctly, Street Fighter 6 players would be able to visit the Sebastian at the Event Counter in the Battle Hub and jump into a tournament for themselves. Unfortunately, issues with the tournament mode have made it so none are currently available, making it technically impossible for fans to unlock the game's Platinum trophy.

Street Fighter 6 has three achievements/trophies tied to tournaments for players to unlock: Gazing at the Peak for entering a tournament, Steely Determination for entering five tournaments, and Dominating Like a Ninja, which is earned by winning 10 Street Fighter 6 tournament matches. Some players were able to unlock these achievements/trophies when the tournaments were actually available, but everyone else will have to wait for Capcom to reinstate the feature. Until that happens, Street Fighter 6's Platinum trophy will be impossible to unlock.

There's been some confusion surrounding the Dominating Like a Ninja achievement/trophy in Street Fighter 6 because its description is inaccurate. The description for that particular Street Fighter 6 achievement/trophy asks players to win 10 tournaments, but in reality, they just have to win 10 matches within those tournaments. That's still likely going to be a tall order for many Street Fighter 6 players, but it's not so insurmountable a task that it should be the hardest achievement/trophy to unlock the entire game. Right now it has a 0.01% unlock rate, but it should be much higher when tournaments are actually in the game on a consistent basis.

Tournaments will make their proper return to Street Fighter 6 eventually, and fans can count on Capcom releasing new content for the fighting game on a regular basis. Street Fighter 6 has enjoyed strong sales and will likely be Capcom's premiere fighting game for years to come with new characters, cosmetics, game modes, and other content added over time.

Street Fighter 6 is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
